Want to get rid of my turkey neck and wrinkles....
WORTH IT$6,400
Want to get rid of my turkey neck and wrinkles. Also some fillers under my eyes. Two weeks from today I will have my surgery. I hope and pray he can perform GREAT results. I will be staying at the Fairfield Inn. TLC will be taking me to all my doctor appointments and will be taking care of me after my surgery. On March 11th, I will be moving to a hotel downtown until I leave to go home.

After surgery
No pain during surgery. The pain once meds wore off was bad. The girl with TLC was only giving me one pain med at a time. Found out later I could have two at a time. Wouldn't hire TLC if I had to do over again.

That's too bad about TLC:-( But you're over the worst now & it'll all be uphill from here. Sending you a big cyber hug!

What have you done with Mamaof3also? You look like you must be her daughter. Really great results, I'm dead impressed!

Awe...too sweet! Hopefully when swelling goes down I'll be able to pass for my daughters sister. LoL

Holy moly . You look great !! Thank u about the heads up on tlc I have no choice I'm going tell them to give me two .. Anything else please let me know

Make sure they give you pain meds before Valium wears off and they give them as directed not when you start hurting.

Also make sure Susie gives you a receipt she did not give me one. I told her I only needed her for 24 or 26 hours but she charged me for 35.
March 12, 2016
Gracious! How did she justify 35 hours of care when you asked for 24? I've certainly not budgeted for 35 hours, that is some serious cash!
March 12, 2016
That should have read 24 to 26 hours and only one smoothie? What is the point of paying for care when your caregiver is attentive and not giving you what you need.

March 12, 2016
Susie told me I needed 36 hours also . Did you get 35 hours or 24 and was charged for 35 ?

March 13, 2016
I told her I only needed her 24-26 hrs. The morning after surgery, Susie and another girl came to take me to get drain out but Dr Harley was sick so it was going to be next day. Susie didn't want to leave me alone but I insist led I'd be ok . All the two of them dig was sit on other bed making calls and trying to figure out how they were going to cover patients that someone refused to work. During this time Doctor called and said he was better and I could go in to get drain removed. I don't know how Susie came up with 35 hrs because she said she hadn't got the receipt made up yet. Hmmm!

March 13, 2016
Don't know. She hasn't even given me a receipt. She said she'd be by Sunday with receipt and refund some of my money
March 13, 2016
You don't need 35 hours. 24 hours is plenty--that's what I had and was fine.

March 13, 2016
Exactly! According to the list when they gave me meds, they gave Meg pain meds at 945am and 100 pm. I wasn't given my antibiotics.

March 12, 2016
Oh I'm so sorry about the pain medication/TLC fiasco! That sounds awful. However, I knew something had to be going on since we'd not heard from you. I was wondering if we were going to have to send out a search party girl into the North Carolina mountains!! LOL!! Seriously, I was relieved to see you'd "checked in" with us. I was getting worried. However, you are looking quite AWESOME and MUCH younger!!! WooHoo!!! I also love your fashionable travel pillow too!!! I'll keep praying that your recovery goes well and your pain is non-existent.

Such a great result! Fabulous! Here is a small practical advise for girls who are awaiting for their surgery. Set up your phone alarm for every 4-6 hours ( according to your prescription) to remind you to take medication. The first two days take pain meds around the clock (it's very important to keep pain under control and sleep more) then as needed. If you have nausea meds, take it 10-15 min before pain med. And last but not least, don't forget to take LAXATIVES. The side effect of pain meds is constipation. It takes 12-24 hr for most laxatives to kick in. I like stool softeners compare to stimulants, it doesn't give you cramps. You should take one or two pills as soon as the night before surgery and possibly two pills 2-3 times daily as long as you take pain meds…You should avoid straining! Hopefully it will help.

Once TLC left I was setting my alarm for every four hours so I could take my meds. The girl that stayed with me she just slept and I only got up to give me my meds when she heard me moving around.

March 12, 2016
I bought pineapple strawberries and blueberries so they can make me a smoothie but they only made one smoothly the whole time they were there.

March 12, 2016
I didn't think they where a loud to sleep. Did you get pillows ? Lol. Red got them and didn't know she charged u to use them.

March 12, 2016
As far as the sleeping goes, what I remember is Natalie was at the end of the other bed - so she was facing me. Anytime, I moved she opened her eyes and said something to me to check on me. She kdidn't get under the covers. The pillow thing was kind of weird, because I had asked Susie ahead of time about the wedge pillow and she said she had one. But it turned out they were these little beanbag pillows about 6 inches long that go under your arms

March 12, 2016
Was probably about 26 hours, because they had to take me to have the dressing taken off.

March 13, 2016
THey ask me if I wanted the red pillows and I told them no not when the hotel had eight pillows in the room I wasn't going to pay $12 for a little bitty red one. The girl laid with her back towards me.

March 13, 2016
That was a wise decision I really don't think those red pillows did much of anything but I was out of it. It sounds like you had a much more negative experience with TLC. I'm sorry it was so bad for you. Those first 24 hours are really important.

March 19, 2016
So glad you you're done. I know how you feel sleeping sitting up....UGGG! I'm still sleeping in my recliner since I'm still swollen. So where did you get fillers?
