One Year Review

WORTH IT$11,900
I have seen many posts here accusing those who have had Biltmore Lifts not posting one year reviews because the lift didn't last. I am one Harley Honey who is still very happy one year after.
I had a lower face lift as well as upper and lower bleph. I am now 53. I am very happy I did this.

Thank you for the positive update. I love my results and with o much negativity I’m probably leaving real self. I prefer to look at the bright side. He’s not a magician, one procedure isn’t going to make everyone perfect. I’m far from perfect, but he’s certainly made me 10-15 years younger. I’ve had a couple very minor bumps long the way but I also have realistic expectations. thank you!
Thanks so much for posting this 1 year update with great pictures. So happy that your results are holding & you still look so much younger. I am almost 4 months out from biltmore & upper bleph & happy as well. A little looser. Do you have any loose skin at the top of your neck?
Thanks so much. I appreciate your taking the time to update. Very helpful and , , , you're still looking young and beautiful! Fabulous result!
Glad you are still happy 1 year post Biltmore lift... not surprising since you look fabulous! Remarkable blepharoplasty results, too...your eyes are absolutely gorgeous. :) Thanks for the update!!!
Thanks for taking the time to do a one year update! Looks great especially eyes!

Compliments from another plastic surgeon

Today I visited a plastic surgeon for filler and dysport. This is a doctor I haven't seen since before my Biltmore Lift and bleph in March performed by Dr Harley. This is a very respected dr from the DC area. I have seen him many times and i respect him. He is honest and will not do something just for the money. Today he said I didn't nded fillers but he did Dysport between brows and crowfeet.
The first thing he asked is if i had eye surgery. He said my eyes were the first thing he noticed when he looked at me, that the surgery really opened them up. He asked me to close my eyes and said Dr Harley did a very good job, and was complimentary of the scar placement. He complimented me several times. He said having the bleph was very good decision. Very nice. Kuddos to Dr Harley!
He didn't notice i had the lift. I will also take this as a compliment!

What a nice compliment! You know it’s great when another PS comments on it! So glad you’re happy! :)
I also had an upper bleph but I have a long scar jutting out from the corner of one eye. The scar on the other side is shorter. Did you have scars like that which have healed since or were they never like mine? From the reviews I didn't know I would have a long scar, I thought most of the scar was on the lid. I would like to think the scar will fade and not be noticeable but I'm not so sure. Thanks.
I want to add that the bleph did open up my eyes nicely. The scar is a real issue though.
Yes, the scars extended about 1/4 inch past the outer corners of my eyes. One was a little gapping, but both healed nicely. If i look closely i can see the scar but no one else would notice. It took a couple months for them to fade.
Thanks for your response. One scar is about half and inch and the other is at least an inch plus. I'm at three months and I can't see the long scar ever being invisible as I can't hide it even with cover up. I've had two people ask me what happened to my eye. A quarter of an inch would be much easier to hide. Thanks again. Your eyes are beautiful, for sure.
Wow, an inch past the outer corner does seem excessive. I wonder why he did that, did you ask? No one noticed mine, not even my husband. I traveled to Asheville with a friend. He knew i was getting a lift, but i never told him about my eyes!
Truly I never asked Dr. Harley after the fact. Because what's done is done. In my mind his scalpel slipped. lol. It's a long, deep scar. The one good side, I feel like most people wouldn't notice. The lids I'm not concerned about at this time because with my eyes wide open, the scar doesn't seem visible. I didn't have excessive dry eye and absolutely no pain from the upper bleph. The scar is an issue though. When you look at me, you see my scar. I know the doctor knows who I am and reads every comment here so he's welcome to join in this discussion. I guess my issue is I went only by the reviews and didn't ask the doctor about my scar placement. I've said this before and I'll say it again. My bad. Make sure you speak to the surgeon about your lift in detail and not rely solely on the reviews about your outcome. Not that the reviews aren't appreciated. Your outcome was great and thank you for your review.
Absolutely gorgeous! so happy for you! Any words of wisdom for healing the scars? Did you keep the mepitac tape on 24/7 for weeks? special scar cream? Thanks!

6 Months post Harley!

It has been 6 months since my Biltmore Lift and upper and lower bleph. I am completely healed, my scars are very faint. If I didn't know they were there, I would not notice them. I was able to keep this secret from friends and family, which proves how natural and subtle the change was... which is exactly what I wanted. I have gotten lots of compliments on how young I look.
If you are on the fence, open the gate! I don't think you will regret it!

Thank you so much for our update. There has been some negative being thrown around & speculation that no one post after the beginning results! You look great! I'm scheduled in December !
