Mini face and neck lift- Dr. Harley

I didn’t expect such a difference but I think it was much more I could have hope for. I am just 2 days out so let’s see how it continues as it settles.

I was there at 8:30 feb 1 - we likleubpassed each other ... so far so good. No swelling or bruising as of now. How are you feeling?

Hi oneposhmom, I’m 46 and I can understand, I was there too. I nearly cancelled my apt over it but let me just encourage you, as a few others did me privately through dm, call Dr. Harley and ask for a consult or even another if you have previously had one. I communicated with him several more times through email, more pics and a video and stressed what I was expecting and why I was concerned. And without hesitation, he said he could not achieve what I was looking for unless I was willing to have some significant scars. My expectations needed to be realistic. I wanted no more vertical lines and a neck that looked 20 yrs old and perfectly taught/draped. Well, I’m 46 and not 20 and he was honest about what could be achieved and what was not realistic without some significant (scars). He’s willing to go there as long as you fully understand what the trade off is. I would really encourage you to also consider what ‘your’ personal scaffolding is. She’s a ridiculously beautiful girl to begin with but she also stated in her review that he told her before she went under that he didn’t think he could address her neck the way she wanted (I think that’s right:/). I hate that she didn’t get what she so badly wanted. I do see improvement on her but it’s not what I see it think as she has to live with it. Again, reach out to him and share your concerns and go from there. I couldn’t recommmend him enough and would let anyone else touch my face or neck. I’ll go back whenI get my eyes done or need to revisit my face and neck again. I think he’s amazing and extremely talented.hope this helps;)

Thanks for the reply. I sent you a pm. So, did you decide that you were willing to go with the more "significant scars" as he stated to give you the look you wanted? Your incisions don't look that much more drastic to me if so. I would def take the trade off as you put it!!

No, I didn’t. I have minimal scars and I’m happy. We are all under the weather here and will post agin in a few days - I did pm you back.

Just want to ask you how do you feel? Are you happy with your results? You’re mentioned about dr, Baker. Have you seen any of his results? I am really looking for someone with lots of experience due to complications I got from previous procedures.

Hi haverim - Baker is GREAT - he has earned his name for a reason but you can only see before and after pics when you go into his office for a consult (for a whopping 450.00)- nothing out there for viewing. I have seen his work. He’s good but I don’t the think ANY facelift is worth 42k. There are great PS’s out there that have the same and even arguably better results like dr H for reasonable prices. Dr Garth Fisher is another great PS charging about the same (I consulted with him as well) but ultimatley chose Dr. Harley because his talent and results blew me away. He’s amazing and I love my results - would do it again in a heartbeat. He’s great, his staff is great as well. Hope that helps...

Haverim - I wasn’t very clear but Dr Garth Fisher charges about the same as Dr. Baker (40kish).

who would you personally preferred between Dr. Garth or Dr.Baker? I’m asking you that because my face got messed up from another procedures I did 6month ago

@haverim - I can’t honestly say - I think they are both well seasoned and great PS but price wise, I think redicilous. Have you considered consulting with Dr. Harley? I would say consult with at least 3-5 PS who have helped others with botched surgeries (ask for pics) also, if its that bad, why not contact the show Botched? Just a thought.

My previous dr. who botched my face willing to give my money back but he ruined all my face and now I need to spend thousands of dollars...I contacted the office of dr. Harley, the problem is that I’m afraid to do sergery under local anesthesia. They not giving IV sadation. I’ve been told that by his secretary nut having consultation with him by the end of May.
I can tell that you know many of great surgeons in USA some of them are very costly...
I am so confused and unhappy since my last treatment..,

@haverim - I get it and completely understand. l was so afraid of having the surgery under sedation. I can tell you, I didn’t feel a THING and I’m a certified wimp - didn’t feel even pressure and talked to his assistant the whole way through. It was painless. I would also encourage you to look at other Dr. Harley reviews and you’ll see what others are saying about the pain (or lack thereof). If he’s willing to take your case on, You’ll do great! Your consult is at the end of May?

I also think it’s great that your previous PS will refund you so you can go elsewhere without having to be totally out twice. I’m so sorry that you have had this experience - I can’t imagine all that you are going through but hang in there and stay hopeful as best you can. And I’m sure it’s hard.

My congratulation with dr. Harley will be by the end of May. I also visited dr. Baker, hw was so knowledgeable and nice. We haven’t yetttt speak about the price. He just gathering information from my previous dr.
