You look beautiful!! You cant even see scars! Thank you for updating! I am scheduled for a lower lift in October and so nervous. Do you know if had a deep plane or what type of lower lift?
You look fantastic! Thanks for posting!
Maybe update your “not sure” rating? Sounds like you feel it was “worth it” and sure looks great!

You look fabulous. My procedure is in few days but with different surgeon. Also under local anesthesia. Thanks for the update.
This surgery was painless. I took my pain meds for I think 2 days. I slept through that time. Very easy. I wish you the same thank you for your kind comment
Wow Mimi. 66? I looked at before then 1 year post. Really beautiful improvement! You must be very happy.

Mimi washed hair today

Washed my hair this morning. Didn't encounter any problems. Just went slow & easy. Thought about calling TLC ( they are so very helpful,,, would not consider doing this surgery without them) but decided to be a big girll & manage by myself all is well

You are a brave soul! I know that wasn't easy. Molena from Molena's TCOB helped me with that and even had dry shampoo the first night so I would not get yucky. She used to be with TLC, but has her own company now. She was a lot less expensive, took care of me like a baby and even came and took me for a drive to the arboretum and didn't charge me a cent to do it. I was so grateful she kept my hair so clean that first day. I didn't use her for 24 hours, though. Just really didn't need it. She came and got me next day for the appointment, though. I don't know if you felt this way, but I really didn't feel that 24 hours was necessary. Yes, you need about 8 or so and the ride to get bandage and drain out next day, but I didn't feel I needed it for as long as I was being quoted by all the other companies. Dr. Harley even said you didn't have to have a nurse all night. I don't think any of the people at any of them are nurses anyway. I couldn't see paying someone 20-something an hour to watch me sleep. Did you feel you could have handled most of this past the first 8-10 hours? I am often curious because so many gals on here ask and I know the push is pretty hard from most of the companies to do 24 hours with the sales pitch of "You will ruin your results." This is just not true and Dr H concurs.
I was comfortable having TLC for 24 hrs. But I am at times a big baby. I thought of it as insurance. Just in case I needed anything. Plus I took pain meds regularly until packing was removed. I didn't want to remember any of the first 24 hrs. After that, all went well. I felt extremely well cared for. I couldn't have asked for better care. I think it's just personal preference . I didn't feel pressured at any time. I think TLC felt pressured by me not to leave. Sad to say, they felt it was time for me to be on my own. They were correct. I have done very well & am very happy the first few days are behind me.
I think this is a perfect example of how every one is so different. Some ladies are the kind of people that want to be alone when healing and some want that insurance. The most important thing is that everyone going to do this realize they don't have to have someone 24 hours straight and I think that is a misconception to many. If they want it, though, it is there. I am glad it worked out for you and you were comfortable is the biggest thing. I am glad the first days are behind you and you are on your way to healing. I am about 3 months out and everything has settled into place. Don't expect too much of a change, though, that tight jaw and neck on me has gone nowhere. The biggest change I see is the swelling isn't as big and my face volume is back to normal. The ear scars have totally flattened in the back and feeling is returning slowly. I am so happy for you. You have a day and night difference already. Your neck and lower face is beautiful. It is just going to get better.
Thank you & I am very happy for your great result
Thanks for sharing that info. Can you pm me her contact? I’m scheduled.
WONDERFUl/ May I ask how if several prescriptions are necesary before the procedures? I continue reading such wonderful reviews about this doctor, and you are definite proof that he is quite brilliant
U get Rx for 4 prescriptions prior to surgery. Take all 4 with u to dr office morning of surgery. Dr gives u a cocktail (combination) of several pills( Valium is one ) & from there I remember a shot to numb an area close to my right ear (funny it didn't hurt) then I woke up after surgery was complete & TLC took me home. I received a pain pill/ nausea/ antibiotic/ every 4 hrs or so. I was very fortunate had no difficulty at any point so far. Get stitches out n morning
Thanks for replying/ You look wonderful/
