It took about 1 week to get the consult. I waited 4 months for the surgery- due to needing vacation time to do this and not be seen for 3 weeks. So that was my choice. I may have been able to do it earlier.

Thank you for your reply. Do you feel the pills that you took pre-op were enough sedation for the procedure? Did you feel any pain during surgery?

I was totally out cold! I don't remember anything! Not even standing to take the Before pictures.

TLC is excellent. They charge $20/ hour, which is reasonable, especially when you factor in the hotel discount they provide! They will set up your hotel for you. And they will make sure you get a hotel with a microwave, fridge, and breakfast included. You will need someone to take care of you- drive you to Dr. Harley's the day of surgery, drive you back to the hotel, stay with you and make sure you are taking your meds and sitting up all night, then drive you back the next day to take out the drain and bandages. Talk to Susie the owner. She is a tremendous help and her people (who took care of me) were super nice, professional. I was skeptical and not so sure. I now know otherwise.

So after 1 day , you were ok to be on your own? Or did you need them longer than that?

Now you have a "baby face" look about you. You must be thrilled! I see Harley this May for mine. Did you have to pay TLC in full when you booked with susie? By that I mean the hotel cost and the nurse cost? How was the hotel? Was it the Fairfield Marriot ? Was the room quiet & nice? Of course I know you were knocked out most of the time. Did you change hotels after the nurse was no longer needed?

How are you doing? I would love to hear your perspective on the lift. I am also anxiously awaiting Better and Better's update. I am up March 17th!

You will be thrilled. So here is how it is going...at month 2 post op. My face and ears are still numb at the area in front of the ears and at the jawline. The swelling has settled ,so some of my face has sagged near my mouth. But it still looks a lot better than my 'before'. I went to a party last night and saw a friend I have not seen in 8 months. She looked right at me and said, "Wow, you look great! " ( she has no idea of my lift and kept looking at me trying to figure out why). You will be thrilled, but keep in mind it is a 'process'. I think it depends on how much Dr. Harley has to do. Everyone is different and has their own unique amount of work to be done. Some people claim to be back to normal in 3 months. I can see I may take just a bit longer. I bought glasses to disguise the swelling in my face when I went back to work 3 weeks post op. My husband said I was overthinking it.
