You look really well healed.

Yes! I think it’s amazing how quickly the body can recover, even at my age.

How old are you?

44 but already 7 years into menopause

oh wow. That is early menopause. I'm 60 and 8 years into menopause. Is your early menopause due to hasimotos?
February 9, 2019
Perhaps. There are different theories. Whatever! I don’t care I’m just happy to be done with periods LOL I’d rather get a little nip tuck to keep my looks than deal with that every month ;)

I don't miss my period either. I would have been happy to be in menopause much earlier myself but some things just can't be moved no matter how much we want it.

You are so pretty and young looking. it's 11 days for me and I can't wait to have 8 weeks behind me. what do you mean by no filter?
February 9, 2019
You’re in for a treat! By no filter I mean it’s an untouched picture without the use of camera filters that change the contrast and detail of the subject. :)

The tightness feeling is almost completely gone.
There are signs of the double chin slowly returning already :(
My ears are still 90% numb with phantom itchiness I cannot scratch. I’m not complaining, just updating.
I’m definitely a lot prettier than I was right before surgery. I look younger and feel more confident overall. I am aware I will need this procedure or a more invasive one again in the next 5-10 years for sure. It’s not a permanent fix.
My husband removed my sutures for me and it was no big deal because they were blue and very easy to snip; however, there was a poky feeling behind one of my ears up until last week when I insisted he look closely at it with a flashlight. He pulled out a clear stitch that had a knot beneath my skin! He tugged at a tiny piece of clear material and pulled the knotted portion through my skin to remove. I don’t know what it was or why it was there but apparently they use more than one kind of material. This wold have been nice to know beforehand. Anyway I’m just happy it’s out now. Just a heads up for those who don’t want to travel back for suture removal. Make sure you look for more than jus the blue sutures.

I just removed my belly button sutures from the fat injections to my face because I forgot to have it done at the docs office.
