Altho 40-ish may sound a bit young for this procedure, losing 50+ pounds the hard way (diet and exercise) left me with loose folds under my chin and the beginning of jowls. After LOTS of research, I decided on the Biltmore Lift with Dr. Harley and I COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED. Just as other reviewers have said, the procedure itself was a breeze and my recovery has been lightning fast, drama-free and even easier than I had hoped it would be. I *think* being younger has helped a bit, but, honestly, Dr. Harley is just that good. I had 0 -- let me repeat 0 bruising -- just some swelling that has diminished bit-by-bit each day. Just 1 week post-surgery, I enjoyed a marathon shopping day while I was in Asheville for suture removal and no one could even tell that I'd had anything done. I look just like me -- but minus the saggy neck and with a firmer, more youthful lower face. I highly, HIGHLY recommend Dr. Harley and the Biltmore Lift to any other 40-year-olds who are beginning to notice the signs of aging and want to roll back the clock by about a decade.

How visible are your scars?

Hi Ava22878, the only visible scar is under my chin but you can really only see it if I lean my head all the way back. An aesthetician noticed it during a facial and assumed that I'd fallen off a bike as a kid, I just agreed with her. ;)

I too have decided to have the biltmore lift done by Dr Harley. After reading so many great reviews, along with great pictures of his work, I've decided to travel from Texas to NC. I'm and so excited to have this done. I have lost over 30lbs and it really shows in my face. I am 56 years old, but feel like 40-So I want my outside to look the way I feel inside, if that makes any sense. Thank you all for your great reviews it really has help me to finally be able to find a Physician I can trust and cares about me, and not just the money!!
Congrats on the weight loss! It sound like this was definitely the right step for you. Would love to see your before and after photos (even of just your lower face if that makes you more comfortable). :)
