3 week update

So far so good! I go back Monday for my one month follow up. For now, here's some updated pictures!

Post Op Day 4

POD3 I woke up soo sick. My nasusea patch had come off in the shower the day before. Even with snacks, I was terrible. I woke up with a migraine and feeling extremely nauseous. After some anti nausea medicine and a cold wash cloth I was finally feeling better. At that point I realized I couldn't keep taking the Valium and Percocet and switched to ibuprofen.
This morning, day 4, I'm feeling much better. Yesterday and today I've been able to move my arms around, meaning no need for all button up shirts, thank goodness! Anyways, so far so good! Although, I drove my son to the bus stop (maybe 1/16 mile almost straight) and that was a big no go! Don't do it... Warning! Terrible idea. I'll update more as I go! More pictures to come!

Post Op Day 2 Pics!

Overall rating

Dr. Brown was absolutely amazing! From our first meeting at the consultation he made me feel comfortable. But what I appreciated the most was his knowledge and opinion on what would work best the achieve the look that I wanted. Every person in his office from the consultation, pre-op, to surgery was so amazingly nice, kind, and helpful. I was extremely nervous the day of surgery but they all made me feel so comfortable. From changing, taking vitals, to keeping my bed warm before we went into the operating room. The operating room is actually is in his building! I can't even begin to express how much I liked that. I don't have anything against hospitals but having the procedure there was so incredible. Everything was clean, organized, and the people were so sweet. After going into the operating room and laying down I don't remember anything until waking up after the procedure was completed. I was in another room being offered food, drinks, and medicine to make sure I wasn't in too much pain. Overall my experience was amazing. I'd recommend him to everyone!
