These are the photographs of my pre op arms and then afterward, post op arms. It has definately changed my life and well worth the processes being carried out. I can now wear clothes that fit me and my confidence has grown.
Arm Lift by Rob Winterton - Absolutely Fantastic; Changed my Life
I would strongly recommend Rob Winterton as a surgeon to carry out arm lift surgery.
I have alway had ‘bingo’ wings on the underside of my arms and they were made worse by my weight loss some years ago. Rob Winterton was recommended to me by someone who had already had surgery performed by him and she was pleased with the procedure, care and result. I therefore booked an appointment and with trepidation, visited Rob Winterton at one of his clinics (Highfield Hospital, Rochdale, UK). I was immediately put at ease and was encouraged to explain the reasons why I wanted this particular surgery. Rob Winterton listened attentively, looked at my arms and agreed he could carry out the surgery which I had chosen. He fully explained the pros and cons of the operation, effects of the surgery and outcomes. I was given time to ask questions and feels that I received clear answers. I attended a further meeting to ensure I could ask further questions and confirm my appointment date. All information was all sent by written communication after each meeting, which made sure that I could review the information in my own time. On the morning of the surgery I was visited by Rob Winterton who went through the process again and marked my arms in preparation of the procedure. His communication and actions were respectful, friendly, positive, calming and reassuring. After the operation, my arms were bandaged, I had minimal pain (paracetamol medication only) and felt comfortable. Rob Winterton visited me and was clear that if I had any questions, concerns or illness upon my return home, that I must ring the hospital immediately. He also explained aftercare procedures. I returned for post operative appointments after 1 week (bandages / plaster removed) and after 5 weeks (‘discharge’ meeting - minimal scars). The whole process with Rob Winterton was perfect. He has a friendly, yet professional manner and his communication is clear and understandable. I felt comfortable to ask questions and received honest answers. Communication with Karen (his secretary) was friendly, helpful and promoted confidence. The nurse who worked alongside him in consultations always had a smile on her face which made me feel comfortable; she demonstrated a caring nature at all times. I cannot explain just how much the procedure has changed my life; my scars are minimal (5 weeks post operation) and my confidence has increased since the surgery. I have never bought so many sleeveless tops to show off my (now) beautiful arms - all thanks to Rob Winterton’s surgical skills. I have never wanted to show my arms when out or in photographs and that is why I cannot give enough praise to Rob Winterton and his team - I think the photograph attached will demonstrate perfectly my satisfaction with the outcome of the surgery.
