Regret Choosing This Doctor

I had my brachioplasty with Dr. turkle on 4/19/24. I am almost one year post-op and utterly displeased with my results, which I have made known several times at follow-up appointments, telephone and email. Only to be told there’s nothing she can do. The only thing offered the last time I went in, was a small scar revision which has nothing to do with the issue at hand. Prior to surgery we had discussed the banding in my arms and the potential of them not being to my expectations. That is fine. I understood that. What I didn’t expect was for them to still be very full and as though a minimal effort was put into my surgery. When I had the consultation I know I should have asked more questions, but I was excited to have arms that I didn’t have to hide anymore. That is not the case. They are uneven, full, and there is still some sag to them. By looking at my arms, she should have known that lipo would be necessary to help correct and even out my arms. If she knew she wasn’t going to do lipo and that she wouldn’t be confident with the results, she shouldn’t have taken me on. After spending as much as I did on a surgery I’ve wanted for years, I feel as though it was a waste of time and money. I hope that more people take the time to research more and ask questions. Her team is great, but her demeanor always gave off cold and rushed. I’m devastated to have the results I do and I’m not even a year post-op.
