Arm lift with lipo - already feeling better

Arm lift with Lipo

WORTH IT$8,000

After two pregnancies and weight gain and loss of 100lbs, I have been left with loose skin that doesn't respond to exercise. I had a breast lift in 2017 and was elated with the results so I of course knew I'd be going back to Dr Smith for my arms as well. I decided to also have a bit of abdominal lipo at the same time as I have a few stubborn fat pockets on my stomach.

Recovery

beegee17

Day 4 of recovery and already feeling better. Days 2 and 3 were a little rough but as long as you stay on top of pain meds it's really not bad. Armpits are definitely the worst part as it's hard to not have any friction. I showered after 48 hours and incisions look pretty good so far. I'm super itchy and have a plastic fork within reach at all times haha.

My arms are super tight feeling which I'm sure will subside once the swelling goes down. It's definitely hard not being able to use my arms and for this reason I'd say this recovery is worst than breasts. Post op appt is Monday so excited to see Dr Smith and get his opinion on how I'm healing. He's been very honest about scarring- it's really kind of a crapshoot how people heal from a brachioplasty but I'm hopeful I'll be one of the lucky ones

How painful is it?

It's more annoying than painful. Pain is the worst the first few days but manageable with meds.

I am 4 months post op from an arm lift from Dr. Aaron Smith. I am very pleased with my scars so far, so hopefully you will be too. I recommend using scar tape as soon as you can. For me that was about a month after. And after trying 4 different scar tapes, I recommend the Silikan brand that comes in a roll. All the other ones were crap as far as I am concerned. You can find that brand on Amazon. Also, I just went in yesterday for my first laser treatment on my scars, and have signed up for two more, spaced three weeks apart. Obviously I don’t know if that has helped yet, but supposedly it really softens the scars and takes the pink away. Good luck to you!
