Arm lift with lipo - already feeling better

Almost 2 months post surgery

WORTH IT$8,000
Recovery has been great, very little discomfort at all. Scarring is okay. I’d hoped for it to be better but knew going into it that arms are tricky for scars. I know they will continue to fade over time but I do have quite a bit of widening around my left armpit area. I think it’s because I sleep with my arms up under my pillow. I continue to use bicorneum and wear silicone tape at all times.

Those are keloid scars and they' re ugly and uncomfortable.I would insist the doctor reduce them at no cost
They are hypertrophic, not keloids. I have the same scarring under my breast and it's not painful. My dr was very forthcoming about the tendency of brachioplasty scars to be hypertrophic.
The difference between your before and after photos are amazing ! Your arms look great. Scars are no fun but they will definitely heal and the raised areas will flatten. Could take months to a year. Focus on the results of your lovely arms.
And for some reason this website lists all my comments under some person “passionate “ but that’s not me.
Biocorneum is the best scar treatment! Seems like you were aware of the possible scars beforehand and are ok with it. They will fade overtime! Two months out and it looks on point.
I’m in similar situation and am planning to have my arm lift in Dec 21. What silicone tapes do you use? And did they help speed up / improve healing?
I've been using the Silikan from amazon. I don't know that they helped speed up healing but it's so much more comfortable to have them on because I feel like they are reinforcing the scars.
Thank you. Do you have any more up to date pics of your arms? Would love to see how they look now - is it roughly 3- 4 months post op?
Looks great! Can the scars be seen from the back with arms down? Any new pics? So afraid but want this!
You can't see the scars from the front or the back with my arms down. I wish I could reply to a comment with a photo!

Almost 3 weeks post op

I’ve switched to silicone scar tape. Arms are a little tender, just bruised feeling. I’m so happy with how they are healing so far. Hoping the scar tape helps a lot in the final result.
Anxious to workout, I’m planning on doing some light cardio this week.

Before/after comparison.

I am so thrilled with the results. 12 days post op and healing really well. I’m anxious to be able to workout but I’m another month out from that.

How was the pain?
Totally manageable! Pain meds for 4 days.
