Complications and Chronic Lymphedema
I underwent a bilateral brachioplasty in November 2022. Today, Sept 2023 I still have considerable amount of swelling in my forearms and underarm area. Had I known this would have been a major complication, I would have never gotten the surgery.
I was told the swelling would last a couple of months, but I am going on a year now. I believe I now have chronic long term Lymphedema.
It is very uncomfortable and it has cause me major sadness and regrets.
