Update : 19 days Post Op Barchioplasty
WORTH IT
Exactly 19 days today. I went to see my PS yesterday and he said I’m healing very well. Although my elbow and the front fold and veins are still sore to touch and swollen but other than that I’m happy with my results. Im massaging it twice a day and put hot compress too loosen up the veins. PS said its very normal to feel some shooting pain like a needle it just shows my veins are awaken. I started applying Dermatix Ultra to soften and flatten the stitches and avoid any keloid.

11 days post op (BRACHIOPLASTY)
Good morning, just an updates. Today is my 11th days post op.
Last night i took a shower and the tape that my PS put on after removing my drainage hole got off... blood just kept flowing out of the hole non stop. But i kept myself calm and not panic. I pressed the wound with my towel to stop the blood flows so i can get out of the shower.. lol. I asked my husband to put a thick layers of gauze and tape around it. But after half an hour the gauze was soaking with blood. Again I asked my husband to removed it and replaced another thick layers of gauze and pull a tape with pressure and tape it. I put on my tight sports bra to gives more pressure to the wound.. Finally the blood stopped (whoa).
This morning I called my PS and i’m going to see him by 3:45pm.
About my arms not much pain but still sensitive especially my forearms (around my elbow) and around my armpit. I asked my PS if he did some lipo because he told me the day of my consultation that I don’t need lipo but I don’t know why it has bruises and very sensitive to touch at the side of my L boobs down my bra rolls. Compared to my R Site. Well what the heck lol.
Taking Bromalian, Iron, Vitamins C,D and B-12 and Arnica pills.
That’s about it.

That's scary - let us know what the Doctor says
Doctor said it’s normal he just puts a feminine napkin and wrapped me around my whole boobs with 6” wide ace bandage (hahaha looks like i had my boobs done). Today i just finished my shower and so far no more bleeding, but still i cut out half of the feminine napkin and put it on where the hole is located and wrapped my 6” bandage. Thanks for your concerns

Btw how’s your scar from your thigh lift? A friend told me to buy dermatix Ultra to smoothen and flatten the scar. U might wanna try it.
I can check it out. Scar is pretty similar - no real improvement even though I've been using silicone scar gel for a few months. Is Dermatix Ultra a cream?

Thanks I'll try it. Is it working for you or someone you know? There are so many creams out there and I don't know if they improve the scar or if it is just the passage of time
It works very well in her thats why I asked my friend what cream did she used. This was given to her by her Korean Surgeon when she had her tummy tuck. I googled it and the reviews were good. I ordered 1 for myself hopefully i’ll have it by my 4th weeks PO.

Geez, that was what I’d call a very scary situation! But, you remained calm, and managed to stop the bleeding. Thank goodness!! I’m sure you’ll feel better, mentally and physically, after seeing your ps. Keep us posted. Good luck
Wow! I"m so glad you got the bleeding stopped and you are OK. Please post some photos of the surgery site and results, we would like to follow your progress. Remember, it can only get better!

Updates: Skin and Fats removed
Went to see Dr. Younai for my post op. Dr Younai showed me how much skin and fats were removed.
Btw, i wanna add : What i like about him is that he’s very honest to me. Some doctors told me they will do lipo and arm lift to get the results i wanted. With Dr. Younai he said my problem is my saggy arms too much elasticity and my upper arms are toned. He suggested I don’t need lipo just cut out the skin and the fat. Other doctors wants lipo and arm lift (who know if they really do lipo on you when you’re in the surgery room) just to get extra money. Anyways, all I’m saying is that some doctors will suggest this and that when you don’t really need it.

How was the pain level for this procedure. When will you post pictures w/o bandage? Can I ask you how much you paid?
Hi the pain is not much maybe because I’m taking Norco. But after 2 days I stopped taking Norco just regular Tylenol. I will try to take picture to show you. Today i’m more stiffer and swollen than past few days. I called my PS and he said its normal. Btw, i paid $7,500. Other doctors asking with lipo and arm tucks is $11,500.00 and $10,800.00. So for me $7,500.00 is pretty good deal. Its like having TT because of the length from elbow to below my armpit. He too took care of the bra fat hanging beside my armpit that’s why my cut is below my armpit

Lol true i was fat my whole childhood stage.i tried yoyo diet get even bigger after my 2nd child. I devoted my time to my kids.. forgot about myself, and my health until my joints were hurting my primary doctor suggested i need to lose weight. Still hard to do it my own because of my pain. My insurance paid for my gastric bypass. I lost 50 lbs. i started going to gym. I lost another 20 lbs. my tummy skin was bothering me with rashes. Had my tummy tuck, thigh lift with Dr. Bruce Katz but not happy with the scar and uneven fats removed. This is my 3rd surgery armlift. Hopefully i will not do any surgery anymore lol
Third surgery for an arm lift!! Wow, 70 pounds total weight loss! I had a tummy tuck too. Another great surgery, my stomach is flat now. What exactly is a thigh lift? Is there visible scars?

My thigh lift is awful still loose skin. But i trying to put some muscle to it

Yes very happy. At first I thought i only have loose skin.. but after my PS shown me the skin and fat he took off i was shocked. But now im really glad about my arm lift. Sorry can’t show u my results yet it still very swollen. I want to upload my new arms when the swollen subsided

Hi Ransrvr, upstates went to my PS yesterday and he took of my drainage bulbs. He said my arms looks good even though very much swollen. I just need to wear my ace bandages for 2 weeks then i can wear compression garment. Right now my forearms and hands are very much swollen too and he said its very normal. I researched on here who did arm lift and doctors answered the same thing. So i guess I don’t need to worry. Pain is very tolerable.
I’m soooo happy that you are progressing and your healing is on point!! It must be so nice not to have those drainage bulbs attached to you. Are you going outside with long sleeve on? Is the ace bandage very hot to wear?
I just went to supermarket with the help of my daughter who drove my car and carried some stuff. I wore a thin jacket with 3/4 sleeves. Ace bandages are not that thick. But i have ac on auto at home.
Great to hear that you’re out and about! Before you know it, you’ll be wearing tank tops showing off your toned arms.
I know... im already excited to buy some off shoulder dresses/blouses.
