51 Y.o Female, IPL is One of the Best Treatments for my Facial Skin - Arizona

I love IPL and over the last 5 years I have done many IPL procedures. For me IPL works very well. I am Caucasian with very light skin. I started doing IPLs because I wanted better complexion, "flawless" look of the skin with smaller pores, less pigmental discoloration and redness. That is exactly what IPL does - minimizes pores, clears up hypo pigmentation. It is also makes my skin more resilient and plumped - I think it is because IPL helps to boost collagen production. It treats the skin from inside out. I find treatments painful but I do not mind as long as it works. I read some bad experiences with IPLs (burns etc), but I think it depends on how strong the IPL setting was used (especially if you are doing it for the first time). I remember the laser technician did very light setting for me for the first time to see how my skin reacts. Also, I was told that IPL works best for fair skin and not so good for Asian and darker skin tones,
