WORTH IT
I love IPL and over the last 5 years I have done many IPL procedures. For me IPL works very well. I am Caucasian with very light skin. I started doing IPLs because I wanted better complexion, "flawless" look of the skin with smaller pores, less pigmental discoloration and redness. That is exactly what IPL does - minimizes pores, clears up hypo pigmentation. It is also makes my skin more resilient and plumped - I think it is because IPL helps to boost collagen production. It treats the skin from inside out. I find treatments painful but I do not mind as long as it works. I read some bad experiences with IPLs (burns etc), but I think it depends on how strong the IPL setting was used (especially if you are doing it for the first time). I remember the laser technician did very light setting for me for the first time to see how my skin reacts. Also, I was told that IPL works best for fair skin and not so good for Asian and darker skin tones,

I can get melasma and have heard different things about using IPL with the hyperpigmentation. Which machine do they use on you? Thank you!

I do not know IPL machine name but I can look it up when I do my next procedure around February

You look really good. I am 55 yrs. old and am going for my I P L treatment in three days. I haven't had any bad reactions and my skin has been looking glowy. My husband has been commenting on it.

I am trying to upload the most recent picture of my face. I did IPL again a couple of weeks ago. Basically I am trying to do IPL every 6 to 8 weeks. I still have some spots on my skin but they very light and I use a bit of foundation to conceal them.
