Areola Reduction

Areola Reduction

WORTH IT
So I have been really unhappy with the appearance of my breasts for as long as I can remember - I always felt that my areola were too large in proportion with the rest of my breasts. After having a child my breasts had slight sagging and pigmented skin appeared around the outside of my areolas, which make me dislike them even more. I had looked into areola reduction for a few years but wasn’t sure about the procedure as I have seen mixed reviews online. I don’t think it is for everyone but this is why it is important you do your research and go to a good surgeon, who has the expertise and know what they are doing to assess whether the procedure is right for you. I am so pleased with the outcome and my only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner! My areolas are now in proportion with my breasts and my breasts now appear slightly lifted. Happy with results! Will update when dressings are off.

After pics

Hi,
Sorry for the delay guys! I thought I added my after pic and haven’t been on here for ages and realised it never uploaded.
One of my pics is 17 days post op and a pic taken today which is almost 3 years post op.
The nipples have stretched slightly but this was always expected with the nature of the procedure when everything relaxes and stabilises. I have fluctuated in weight no more than 9lb in total which isn’t a lot, so recommend getting to your goal weight before getting the procedure done as if you put on lots of weight they will stretch more.
I am glad I got the procedure done as I feel the shape and size are still a lot better than before I got the procedure done. It was something that I’d really disliked about myself for years so getting it done changed my life.
My breasts are not perfect and could potentially have more done to them but this would obviously come at a higher cost. I know they’re not perfect and could be better but now I can bare the sight of my breasts without feeling embarrassed. At a reasonable cost and being quite a minimally invasive procedure, I would say for anyone considering it to go for it! My surgeon was lovely and down to earth, so get a consultation to see if you are a suitable candidate for the procedure and to find a surgeon that you are comfortable with :-)

There are permanent sutures within the breast, it is sewn like a purse string. I can’t feel them and it doesn’t bother me x
