Its my fifth visit to Amaris B located at Arab St Singapore. I had first become Dr Phua's patient when he was first located at China Square. Have been getting my facial fat grating done with him, initially for my eye bags and subsequently for cheek and chin enhancement. His service and professionalism as an asethetic doctor has apparently declined over the past 8 years (I would see it as an arrogance as his business gets better) Having said that, his fees has also significantly increased over my past visits of which I wouldn't have batter an eyelid if his service is well-worth my bucks. Unfortunately, it isn't so. My most recent visit was in Dec 2014 to rectify my gaunt sunken cheeks. He was all too eager with promises to rectify my problem and restoring my youthful cheeks for the price of SGD$3500 for 3 sections of my face, namely my tempers, the area next to my ears and under my eyes. After the swelling went down in 1 and a half months, whatever that was left was extremely disappointing. Dr Phua was immensely reluctant to do a second touch-up (which is FOC for all you guys who know about fat grafting procedures) and I had to practically "beg" him for it. During my second touch-up, I had to even point out to him an area (just below my cheekbone) which he, as a professional, have neglected and should have pin-pointed to me during my first procedure that fat should have been grafted to that section of my face in order to restore a certain degree of youthfulness. He was extremely short and curt during my second touch-up (as it was FOC and he had the kind of attitude that says it was a waste of his time and he just wanted to "get-it-over-and done-with"). As a regular customer for the past 8 years, his service has just deteriorated over the years. So that did it, it would be my last visit to his clinic. For SGD$3500 only for 3 portions of my face (this is going to again significantly increased due to new regulations in Singapore; there will be a price hike of another 1.2k at least come March 2015), I will have to bring my fat grafting procedure to Seoul in another 1.5 to 2 years. All you girls out there contemplating getting your facial fat grafting done by Amaris B, think again. What's the deal with having to "beg" your asethetic doctor for a 2nd touch-up (which you clearly deemed deserve after having paid a hefty 3.5k) It's like pocketing your money and delivering results way below your expectations.
