Hi BR friends .
Bruising is going down . The doctor was a bit concerned with the bruising on the right breast on the side . But it is really getting much better the last few days .

Stitch removal wasn't as bad as I thought it would be . I have a great nurse that distracts me .

I am getting pretty tired of lying on my back only , but wouldn't have made it without m super comfy lazy boy recliner . It's my fave spot to sleep . Just surrounded with pillows n a blankie . Only trouble is releasing the foot lever - lol - I understand why elderly people get those remote ones now .

Most uncomfortable part now is dry skin flaking and itchiness .

The one that worked the best for me was Palmers' scar treatment :-)

Try Bio Oil on breasts (not incision areas until they are completely closed/healed though). It works great and feels good. Beautiful result so far, congrats. Take care :-DSuzy

Just came across your review. You are looking amazing. Your size and shape look perfect! Hope your recovery continues to go smoothly. I would suggest submitting your claims through insurance anyway, unless you got a special self-pay rate. My insurance stated they would not cover my reduction as it was an exclusion of the plan. My husband's insurance did approve it though. But when the claims were submitted my insurance paid the claim based on my benefits for everything except the surgeon fee. That was a nice surprise.

Oh good to know . And yes , I did get a special rate and we switched to a much cheaper surgical center as well . I deal with insurance at work daily & I despise the game they play . Glad yours ended up paying !!!! I am so happy to have smaller breasts would pay for this surgery for all my friends that want it if I could :)

Looking very good, wonderful shape, the bruising just takes time, I am 4 weeks post op and it improves a tiny bit each day. Think in terms of 2 months for the swelling.

Keep up with taking the arnica and bromelain, it really helps. And for the bruises don't be alarmed if it takes longer. I am almost 5 weeks post, i had terrible bruises too, and there are still visible.

Went for my 1 week check and to have drains and surgical tape removed last Thursday . Those drains were really starting to get unconfortable - especially as I took less n less pain meds. I was terrified of the removal part , but it was literally painless . The tape removal was a tad ouchy but really fine .
I did actually freak out a bit when I saw all the stitches that had been hidden by tape . Dr said those stitches are to be removed this upcoming Thursday . Haven't taken a new pic , but will try before stitch removal .
Not taking pain meds for a few days now . Feeling human but certainly not able to jump around or bend over forward - lol.
More than anything , I am just loving the fact that I look a billion times smaller in tops than I did before ! It is amazing how much of a difference of appearance I have with smaller perkier boobies ! LOVE LOVE LOVE this part of it .
And no back , neck , shoulder pain like I used to have .
Downside this week : lost of bruising , turning dark and crazy tender to palpation this last few days . Started taking arnica Montana & Bromelain yesterday to see if it helps a bit?
I have been drinking crazy amounts of water .Can't imagine not staying super hydrated through all this ! The hubby has been buying me the big bags of Sonic ice , to make my water yummy and cold :)
All in all , feel very blessed & happy about making the decision to finally have this reduction !

sounds great, good to be off pain meds. bromelain needs to be taken on empty stomach between meals to be effective, but i think it is miraculous. your bruising will fade by the day, i am 4 weeks and it is 80% gone. look forward to the new photos.
