I have added some more views of my before and after. It shows how extreme my brow bossing was before compared to after. Also the hump on the bridge of my nose is gone and the tip of my nose has much more uplift than before.

I just though I would update my profile. Now it is 5 months after surgery and everything has healed up well, also love the fact that I can now breathe freely through both nostrils- I never could before the surgery- bliss !
Facial Feminisation Surgery with Dr Oelebrandt
I am a 48 year old trans male to female and have been on my path of gender reassignment and hrt for the last 5 years. I had facial feminisation surgery 4 months ago: brow bossing surgery and rhinoplasty.
The task of being identified as female had seemed like an impossibility owing to my 6 foot 3 stature (although I am quite slim)and my heavily masculinised brow and nose.
I began researching facial feminisation surgery some years ago and looked at all of the providers that were practical for me and that would provide the type 3 frontal sinus reduction that I required: facial team in Spain, dr Cardenas in Mexico etc but decided on the Belgium option because of their experience with this type of surgery, the relative convenience of going to Belgium, value for money and because I liked Dr Oelbrandt when I went for my initial consultation in London. He came across as honest and caring and that initial impression proved to be accurate.
Everything went smoothly up to the surgery and Dr Oelbrandt was easy to contact with any queries that I had. The surgery went very smoothly with good aftercare. My case was challenging because I had such large sinuses and a large Roman nose but Dr Oelbrandt and his team went the extra mile to do a great job. I had no complications, healed well and feel that I have been granted the greatest gift I could of hoped for, a face that I like and is as I see myself in my mind.
The path for anyone like me is not a smooth one and facial surgery has not been like a ‘magic wand’ solving all of my problems overnight and I still get clocked as a man more often than I would like, partly, I assume because of my build and height. However, the odd occasions when I am identified as a woman are truly amazing and offset the rest to some extent. I’m addition I feel that I blend in a lot better, the perplexed looks are less common now and above all I feel happier and more confident with the face that I present to the world.
