17 days post op...........
I feel 75% back to normal......yay! Overall my experience has been fabulous! I have a high tolerance for pain so for the most part it has been very tolerable. The hardest thing for me has been just slowing down. I kid you not I was out to dinner 9 days after and grocery shopping 12 days post op. Now mind you I had to quickly leave Walmart because I became very ill but i over did it that day. My bridal shower was yesterday and I felt fabulous and looked fabulous in my cute sun dress with NO MUFFIN TOP!!!! This has been the best thing I could of ever did for my self and my self-esteem. I can't wait to get back into the gym to contour my body even more. My doc says I can start using scar cremes and I can go back to the gym this week!!!! Now for some people their doctor say it's best to wait 6-8 weeks but my doc says slowly work my way back into the gym and do what my body says it can do, I LOVE HIS THINKING!!!
THe worst part in my opinion, which I feel no one ever really discloses was the removal of the tubes....OUCH!!!!! When the nurse yanked those tubes out I thought I would pass out but after a few minutes the burning and pain was gone and I was drainless. Also, the first bm after was (atleast for me) like delivering a baby, ha ha! I was in the bathroom for 30 minute struggling. I didn't know what I was going to do and I did not use laxitives just a stool softner and that had been days before and then I stopped but nonetheless that was horrid but I felt like a million buck when I was done, LOL! I know that was TMI but I know these are the things I wanted to know when I was researching.
All I will update in the next 2 weeks!!!! Good luck fellow tummy tuckers and welcome to the flat side!!!!
