Regardless of diet and exercise, my thighs still connected as I walked. I bought the back smoothing bras to hide my ripples and the little muffin tops appeared at the top of my favorite jeans. I have had liposuction in the past and I dreaded the thought of the surgery with a long recovery. So I began researching. The first procedure to catch my eye was cool sculpting. I even went so far as to schedule an appointment for the procedure. Fortunately, I continued my research and knew cool sculpting would be a costly mistake. It is gimmicky and not for me. I soon came across smart lipo. This procedure was just what I was looking for. Next, I needed a skilled physician who could perform the procedure. The morning of the operation, I was excited and nervous. The nurse put in an IV for conscious sedation. Then my doctor came in and drew out his plan on my body. I then walked to the procedure room and laid face down on the table. The nurses and doctor let me know they were ready for the medication to flow through the IV. I fell asleep and woke up ready to be transported home. I slept for about four hours. I had a pretty good headache but nothing OTC medication didn't cure. I have a compression garment they gave me to wear. I took it easy resting and sleeping much of the first day. However, the second day I felt good. When I touch the areas of surgery it felt like touching a sunburn. The pain level felt sore like I worked out too hard but nothing that prevented me from moving about normally with my daily life.

Two weeks later

It has been 2 weeks since my procedure. I noticed a few days ago that the bruising on my inner thighs disappeared. The pain I feel in my thighs is like an occassional soreness, when I press deeply. This tells me that the healing process is not complete. All of the bruising on my flanks and back are gone as well. I did not bruise too much there anyways. At one point I forgot that I even had something done. I have gone about my daily like as normal. Then a couple of days ago I noticed a short pin pricking feeling in my flank area. The pain was nothing I needed to take medication for, just a reminded that I am still healing. I am wearing the spanx body suits 24/7 and plan to continue to do so for the next 6 weeks. I'll admit they are annoying at times but I feel it is an important component to the best out come. I still have some swelling and soreness. I have not lost or gained any weight. My weight is in the normal range anyways. My goal for this procedure is to get rid of bra bulges, muffin tops, and my thighs swiping together. I am confident this will be met and I can see evidence already. I'll add photos soon.

The would have and should have of life. Photos are great if you take them. I have a few photos that are misplaced on my computer at the moment. I'll have the medical photos in a month. At the moment I am interested in viewing the photos for my personal use. Make a note to take plenty of photos.
