I've held off posting this so I wouldn't end up becoming too anxious with excitement for my surgery date! My surgery is on wednesday and hopefully things go as planned. Unfortunately, I developed strep throat a couple of days ago. I'm feeling a lot better now and i've been taking antibiotics for 5 days. Docs office said it shouldn't be a huge problem, but along with strep I also developed a UTI. Both are clearing up nicely, but i'm still a little bit stressed that they won't let me have the surgery on wednesday!
Anywho, I started developing breasts extremely early. I was wearing bras by the time I was in 2nd grade. I didn't really notice that my breasts had developed strangely until all the other girls started developing. I've hated my breasts for as long as I can remember. I had my first consult when i was 14 but I didn't have the money at the time to have the surgery performed. I finally do and I'm really excited to finally be able to feel comfortable in my own skin!

So it took me a little while to wake up while I was at the hospital. I was quite nauseous and in a lot of pain when I finally did. The nurses dripped some fentinol and anti-nausea meds into my iv and then gave me some crackers to take with some more pain pills and zofran orally. The sensation that I experienced as I woke up was some burning, and then the wrap the put your boobs under is SO tight. I'm writing this review this morning and I'm finally feeling less nauseous. I took about 4 pain pills yesterday since I had gotten home from the hospital, 2 valium & a couple more zofran pills. My doctor ordered me a nausea patch that they stuck on before surgery yesterday so I think that that is finally kicking in as well!
I have my unwrapping at 2 today so I'll post an update with more pics then!

So i just got the tight elastic wrap taken off and boy am I SO HAPPY! i'm still in quite a bit of pain. It's difficult laying in bed unless i'm at a specific level, it's difficult opening doors and contracting my chest isn't the easiest so my breathing is a bit shallow! On a scale of 1-10, my pain is about a 6 if i'm completely till and around a 7.5 when i'm moving around a lot. Either way, I can already see that I have beautiful breasts so what's a little pain?

Get it, girl! I've had the breasts in my 'before' pictures since they started developing. They just kind of prevented me from doing a lot of things, feeling comfortable with men, and most importantly: feeling comfortable with myself! How you scheduled your surgery yet? It was kind of funny with mine. I scheduled it two months in advance and even during my pre-op the day before, I was nervous or anxious. I still don't think i've fully comprehended the fact that I HAVE GORGEOUS, PERKY BREASTS!! instead of the elephant ears I had before hand!
Please share you journey here if you haven't already started! I wish you the best of luck and to have a speedy recovery! Thanks for checking out my post!
