Anchor Breast Lift with Implants

maryguthrie
Hi,
Realself has been instrumental through this process so I've decided to document my upcoming surgery. Anchor Breast lift +nipple downsize+ 400cc implants. My only real concerns are to hopefully maintain breast and nipple symmetry, heal smoothly and not lose a nipple. Though I highly doubt that would happen, surgeries always carry inherent risks. I will update my progress to better help others understand what the process might look like for them (with said, everyone's journey is unique to them) I've done my research and fully believe in the capabilities and artistry of the doctor I've carefully chosen. Super anxious for my surgery but also excited.

Hi there!

Little update on how the past 4 days has gone.

Day 1: Surgery day went incredibly smooth! :) the Doctors and Nurses at the surgical center were amazing. I went to sleep and awoke with what was expected. A lot of pressure on my chest accompanied by moderate pain. 6>8 on pain scale.

Day 2: loads of pressure like pain, the pain medication was definitely necessary. I stayed on schedule from day 1. One pain pill every 6>8hrs. The pain and pressure was at a 3 or 4 while laying down in recliner and would shoot up to a 7>9 whenever I would stand to walk/use restroom.

Day 3: feeling much better, 50% of pain and swelling subsided :) decided to discontinue pain pills and see how it goes. The withdrawal from only 3 days of oxy was horrendous. Super nauseous. pain is manageable with tylenol. Took first sitting shower(daughter helped) felt good to be clean

Day 4: still bit nauseous but doing much better! Taking nothing for pain and up and walking as much as possible. Still very swollen so icing every few hours for 20 mins.
