Anchor Breast Lift Without Implants

This was my 2nd procedure with Dr Heistein. He did a panniculectomy with abdominoplasty for me last year and it came out beautifully. I didn't hesitate go back for my breast lift. I'm 1 day post op and they're so beautiful already. He called me yesterday to check on me and I went to his office for my dressing change this morning and got taken right back. His staff is amazing and it's never a long wait. I couldn't recommend him more.

Breasts before lift

Photos taken before My procedure. I took these prior to my surgery at home so that I could compare. I'm still only a few days post op and have a lot of swelling and bruising but I can tell a huge difference and I'm very pleased with my breast lift results

Incision opened

NurseDani
I'm 3.5 weeks post op now and having problems with an area of my incision under my right bresst at the intersection of the "anchor" that keeps draining and won't heal. I've contacted My PS and he says it's common and to give it a few weeks and just keep it clean and dry. I'm keeping clean gauze on it and changing it when it gets soiled. The drainage is serous (clear yellow) and there's minimal pain and no signs of infection but It looks like it will be an ugly scar. I'm hoping it closes soon it's been open for almost 2 weeks now and not getting better.

Watch your sugar intake. If you're at pre-diabetes levels, it can slow healing

Do you know why this happened?

I'm am ER nurse I went back to work too quickly and lifting and pushing at work was too much strain on my incision. I'm back on light duty until it heals.

I'm just curious .. do you wash the area ? My strategy for my self that is 7 days post op to not wet or moisture the area basically absolute dryness ..

I wash it with antibacterial dial soap in the shower & let the water run over it. I don't put lotion or scented soap or anything else on it.

I know things look rough so soon post-op, but I can tell you will have phenomenal results! Hang in there! Soon you’ll be loving your new breasts!

Hello I hope your incisions are better. It looks like you will have a good surgical outcome once healed. Wishing you the best!
I'm 4 weeks post explant & lift. Been having problems with the skin around my incisions for 1.5 weeks. So stressed with this as I am a nurse restricted to desk duty to heal.
