26 Yo W/ 2 Kids So Now It's my Turn to Be Taken Care of :) Anaheim, CA

Feel 100x better then last week. I had my apt yesterday with my surgeon and he made sure my drain sites were not infected and took the tape off my insicion line. I still have 2 stretch marks above my insicion line bc they were above my old belly button so that sucks I wish he would have just cut that much skin off lol. I'm sure he would have if he could. I liked the tape on my insicion bc I guess out of site out of mind. Now I can see it and it's more of a reality of what I have done. I always look at my before picture though and my husband is the only one who is going to see it. I need to remind my self that it's only been 2 weeks and the prominent separation won't always be there. Back pain is still a drag nc I'm a stomach sleeper so sleeping on my back this long is taking its toll. I bought heating back patches that made a world of difference.

Today is day 6 post op and I got my second drain out and lipo stitches out. Did not hurt at all. Feel sooo much better w o drains and I can finally shower now!!

Pain is very tolerable. My drain site burned alittle but once when I got up but I think I got up to quickly. My pills make my body a little bit itchy so that's annoying. When I go pee it's very stop and go so I fell like I sit there forever. My throat gets very dry from the tubes from surgery. Don't really have an appetite but I snacked on some crackers and yogurt to put something inside my stomach. Oh and I can't sleep longer then about an hour at a time so I hope that changes soon. Good thing though is that I can fall asleep quickly. I'll post pics of my compression garment
