I am an person of Irish decent and I have very dark hair. And the hair was in places that I did not want to maintain all the time. This includes facial hair, belly line, breast, armpit, bikini line. So when I had the funds I had laser hair removal done. I am so happy with the results. No more shaving!

I mostly saw the nurse practitioner for these procedures; actually two different ones. They were fun and friendly. Sometimes only one treatment was needed, which was great. It was a bit painful at points, but well worth it. I have black hair (the best for this type of procedure) and it worked very well.

Hi, Oh sure! I would love to give photos, but I didn't take any; I just sort of went in, had it done and then that was it. I talked a boyfriend I had into getting his back hair removed by laser; not that I cared, but HE did. He said it was hot and uncomfortable. And he was very happy too, to have it done (although it's weird for men when they get one area done like that, there is a line, so that needs to be discussed with the practitioner). I can say that it was all "pros" for me. No cons. I had dense pubic type hair around the bikini line and after I had a child, it creeped up my belly and down my thighs. I was sick of waxing (and getting ingrown hairs). The laser hair removal completely changed my whole body maintenance ritual :) I even had hair removed from my forearms. Having it removed from my underarms was such a great thing too; again, the coarse hair would need shaving often and that resulted in ingrown hairs. So for me it was great. As a child I got made fun of for having a mustache. I would say for any young person, if it's appropriate for certain age groups, it is worth the cost in order to save a girl that pain.
