The Most Amazing Experience with the Most Amazing Doctor/Surgeon/Artist! Remarkable Facelift and Thigh Lift!
WORTH IT$12,400
I had a facelift, blepharoplasty, cheek fat transfer, and liposuction on my face. At the same time, I had lipo on my thighs as well as a thigh lift. I have to say I wasn't even nervous about anything until about two days before the surgery. The day before I was pretty numb as far as nerves go. However, when I woke up the day of the surgery my heart was pounding. Nerves were not warranted. Best experience ever. I have had cosmetic surgeries before in the states, and honestly the experience did not even come close to the experience with Dr. Marco Carmona and of course his angel that takes care of the office Danny. I will begin with Danny and her husband Arturo. They are both Angels and so is Dr. Carmona. Danny takes care of everything literally and she answers emails and texts when she really shouldn't. I texted her on New Year's Day and I think even on Christmas because I plain forgot that it was a holiday...then I apologize. Even though she was in Florida on Holiday...she literally texted me back constantly. She should have turned the phone off, but honestly she didn't. This group of people actually care about you as an individual, how you will look in the end, and that every step of the way you feel the most comfortable that you can.
Okay, now to talk a little about Dr. Carmona. When he meets you and looks at you, he does not babble. He actually studies you as if you were a Da Vinci painting. It is quite interesting to observe him observing you. You can tell he is an artist, not just a surgeon. There is a big difference.
I did the surgery early on the 6th of January, and I was worried I wouldn't be able to walk or talk for a month; however, today is the 13th and it amazes me how good I look and feel. I actually went to the movies today at the mall with my husband.
I can tell that I am going to look 15 years younger at least...maybe even 20 than what I am. My legs look amazing. The doctor sucked a liter of fat from my thighs. He knew that I did not want a scar down my leg if I could at all avoid it. Guess what? He did a special technique and it worked. He drew me a diagram today to show me what he did in order to avoid the scar. The funny thing was the morning of the surgery I told him do what you have to because I trust you Dr. Carmona. He said to me Thank you for your trust. After that , I was at ease.
I know this has been one of the best experiences of my life. I fix homes for a living. When I look at a home within 30 seconds I know what the potential is and what I want to change. Well over the last couple of years, I dramatically aged. My face sagged and no matter how many injections and how much sculptra I did, it still drove me nuts every time I looked in a mirror. I decided I have fixed many homes in my life time to start fixing myself, and with Dr. Carmona's help (and Danny's), I know look like a much better version of the me. I look like the pretty woman I was in my 30's.
The surgery was in the hospital Victoria, and it doesn't look like much, but trust me I had top notch care. I got anxious because of my compression garment, and my oxygen level was bouncing around. I asked them to test my oxygen levels couple of times, and the nurse called the internist doctor on call twice and he came in to see me. He gave me a Xanax to calm my anxiety and some oxygen and off to sleep I went. The nurses were the best ever! My husband and I both agreed that you would never get that type of attention in the United States in a hospital. Also, due to the fact that the on call doctor prescribed extra pain killer, xanax, and oxygen and came twice to see me, we thought we would get billed extra and were prepared to pay in the morning. Guess what? Nothing was charged! I swear in the states that one xanax would have cost $60 in the hospital charges.
I will be posting a ton of photos. I knew this would be a lengthy review. I will keep updating on a weekly basis. I know a lot of women think about doing these type of things but are apprehensive or can't afford it. This surgery in the states would have been unaffordable for me. I got the best of service even without paying the prices I would have had to pay. Dr. Carmona is an artist and is one of the best plastic surgeons ever! Do NOT hestitate to email me and ask me questions. You can find me on various social media as well and friend me as I have more pics posted. I will post more photos in the morning. I have to resize them.

Day 1 in Hospital
Just fyi, I actually had some issues in the hospital, but they arose from my anxiety. The doctor and the nurses warned me that I would get anxiety over my face and eyes being wrapped. That part was easy because I actually got to rest and do nothing ...no cell no computer. I enjoyed that. However, the garment for my thighs gave me anxiety. I ended up having low oxygen levels most like brought on by my anxiety. I have had two parents with this type of problem low oxygen so I quickly realized what was going on. I called for nurse twice in 20 minutes and she brough oxygen sensor and of course my oxygen was bouncing around. Then she went and call on call doctor who came in to see me, and I told him what I was feeling. He decided to give me a xanax, some more pain meds just in case, and oxygen. This solved my issue and I quickly fell back asleep and woke up feeling great the next morning. The internist also came back in to check on my during the night. I told me husband to prepare for additional charges for everything...there were none. Hospital Victoria is quaint, but the best. Also please note that Dr. Carmona has THE best Anesthesiologist...bar none!

Day 2 pictures
Now I am eating, drinking, and walking all over the condo. The nurse came and gave me a shower and checked my dressings/stitches. Even the nurse was amazed at how good it looked at 2 days! I have no pain. I was really afraid of him only prescribing ibuprofen, but honestly, I didn't need it. Mostly, my problem was I didn't want to eat anything first two days, and he kept stressing the importance of eating for healing.

What exactly did he do to your thighs that you don’t have sutures down your leg? My thighs are way worse and my ps will not do anything, sutures vertical or around top of leg.

I understand that the surgery cost itself will vary based on the individual but what I am having trouble wrapping my head around is is it still less expensive once you add in the travel and accommodations? Not specifically for you and your surgery but I am asking different people who have gone to other countries this question. Maybe because I am in Canada the actual travel expenses are more so I can investigate that Post covid19. What about the accommodations? Did you arrange those or are they arranged through the doctors office? How long after your procedure did you return home?
