Mind f@*k

This surgery is such a mind fu#k! Clothes I was swimming g in b4 surgery are now tight. I'm having a hard time finding clothes to wear over my compression garment -aka supersuit! It's only been 11 days and I'm tired of the swelling. I'm a very inpatient person so the next few weeks are going to be very difficult!

10 days p.o

My 1 week p.o went well. I had the penrose drains removed. My belly button is a "little dusky" so he repacked it and I have to leave that in till Friday. I'm pleased with the results so far. I'm moving around pretty well. Still sore. My biggest problem at this point is back pain from still walking a little hunched over.

Hello everyone. I have 2 handsome boys ages 10...

Hello everyone. I have 2 handsome boys ages 10 and 5. They were both big babies, my first was 8 lbs 3 oz and my second was 9lbs 4 oz. I have struggled with back pain since I was pregnant with my first. My stomach was so stretched by the pregnancies that it didn't matter what I did. I lost weight but abdominal exercise was no possible. If I tried I was in ridiculous pain from my back. I have wanted a tt for 10 years. I finally did it! It has been an exhausting few days. Very challenging and overwhelming. I didn't realize how painful the MR was going to be! I was told I had a 3 inch separation of my muscles that he repaired. That seems pretty significant to me and I imagine that is why I had such trouble with back pain and abdominal exercises. So here is the past few days. I had surgery at Blair plastic surgery in Altoona pa on 8/14/15. I was 146 the morning of surgery. I don't remember much from the post op. I have general anesthesia for the tt and I believe some versed for the the liposulpure. I did not get sick thank goodness. I was prescribed zofran to take an hour prior to surgery and the gave me dose of pepcid and reglan preoperatively. I started an antibiotic the night b4 surgery and finish it up on friday. I was told to only have clear liquids the day b4 surgery. I also had to do a fleets enema the night b4 as well. I was told to start taking 1000 mg of bromelain bid 2 days prior and 400 extra units of vitamin E bid and continuing for 2 weeks after to aid with healing and inflammation. I also started a multivitamin 2 weeks prior to the procedure.
Getting in my kia optima after surgery was very painful, my car sits low to the ground and the seats r pretty much on the floor. Very hard to get in and out of. I was very hunched over the first day because it hurt like hell! I saw my psychological the next morning and he said I have to stop walking so hunched. I faithfully get up every 2 hours to walk mo matter what. The percocet didn't really do much pain wise they just constipated me terribly. I finally had a bm today after taking a enema, a suppository, miralax everyday p.o and laxatives! I was beyond miserable yesterday!!! Everyday is a little beter. Whatever you do, DO NOT laugh, cough, sneeze , jerk , or cry! I laughed today and it was seriously the worst pain I ever experienced in my life! Worse than childbirth by far! I have penrose drains in that will be removed on friday. I have to wear a full marena compression garment till Fri. Only removing it for a half hour a day today shower. I will then have to wear another compression garment that goes just above my knees for 3 more weeks -again, only removing it for a half hour a day. Swelling is horrible. I get full very fast now. My drainage is minimal now from the penrose drains and the lipo sites were done draining by Sunday. The lipo sites are swollen, sore and itchy now. Apparently that is all normal. I will update u again on Fri after my 1 week p.o. visit.
