42 and Finally Taking Care of the Girls... - Altoona, PA

Well I'm already scheduled with Dr. Louton for a breast augmentation. I'm going with the Natrelle brand "gummy bear" textured tear drop shaped implants. He's going to decide anywhere from a 330 to a 380 sized implant. Currently a 34/36 A cup and still have room in my bra :( I would like to be a nice sized C afterwards. I've expressed my desired look to him and also to the nurse. I will express my desires again right before he gets to work!!! lol. I am 5'1" and currently 108lbs. I had a tummy tuck 2 years ago with fantastic results!!! Unfortunately I had to have a Hysterectomy 5 months after my surgery, being laid up for about 6 months really did a number on his work.. I had about 2 months of hard core exercise and was starting to get back getting into shape when we lost our son in a bad motorcycle accident beginning of the summer. Needless to say that after dealing with the excruciating pain and stress of our loss and burying our only son, I hit my bed the end of the summer and didn't emerge until late January. I was about 100 lbs with a flat stomach before my hysterectomy!! Well I'm now at 108lbs and have a little pooch and some side flab :( So my husband encouraged me to call and see about taking care of the "girls", as I was originally to go and have it done at the end of last summer, but of course there was no way that I even thought of or considered it at all.. So I am on my way May 1st to finally have some nice looking boobs..He's also going to do some lipo and fix what the other Dr. undid in the scar area. The way it was stitched it left me with a bump type affect... YAY!!!! While typing this, the office called and asked if I wanted to come on the 1st instead of the 8th- called my husband and he's okay with that!!! So yay- I go in a week earlier :) :) :) I'm excited, I'm nervous, and then excited! I do have that fear of course of being tooo big and being toooo small just like all of the other wonderful ladies out there.. I've never really had boobs, I'm just wanting to rock my 40's as best as I can!!! I'm a petite person and I just want to look as good as I can.

So we have to be there at 9:00 a.m. knowing my husband we will be there before that time. I still have to go out today and find a couple of light weight zip ups to wear if I leave the house.. The ones that I wear for walking are big and worn out and look as though they've seen better days. I purposefully didn't get them so that I would have something to focus on for today. I can already feel myself getting nerved out. I am sure that my fears are normal. I'm fearful of not loving my boobs, of being in that percentile of complications...

I forget which size he used I was really looped up and my husband wasn't there when told me.. I'm in pain, he gave me two different strengths of pain pills. So I'm taking the higher ones and will take the lower dose during the days.. I go back this Wednesday to get the drains out. Lefty had some blood leaking out do I called Tge Dr he had my husband look at the incision site and drain site.. My husband hates blood so bless his heart for looking.. He bieves it's from the drain site.. It stopped bleeding though. I was hoping it wouldn't hurt this badly, tummy tuck was a breeze!! Been alternating ice pack.. He told us to not touch anything until Wednesday.. But I'm going to call Monday to see if I change my bra bc of the blood.. Other than that I'm doing okay. I have to do my drains myself bc my husband hates blood!! They're easy to do I did them with my tummy tuck..Dr Louton didn't mess with scar and felt that lipo would take care of the bump above the scar area.. I'm okay with the scar it's the bump I hated.. I tried uploading picturesadtnigh but couldn't get it to work.. Trying h again now. ThNks for asking how I'm doing!!
