I totally did not realize how much they've changed until I just looked at these two photos side by side! Cool!
Oh and let's not talk about how I'm losing my tan...

And they even still continue to change for 6+ more months. I totally though my boobs would be done at 3 months but with more research I realize that's crazy. Gravity does get them, hallelujah. I'm totally with you...I still want mine to be softer and less upper pole. I'm not sure if they'll ever get to where I want them but I know 3 months from now they'll be different from now. They look really nice, makes sense you love them!

Wow, you look amazing!! You're results are perfect. I like following your profile because I haven't found many others besides myself who have round textured. I feel like mine are pretty well stuck where they are now at almost 8 weeks but I wonder if they'll change more? Anyway, you look great!

Thank you! :)

Yeah there aren't a lot of ladies on here with textured round so I'll definitely be checking out your review!

And trust me, at 8 weeks I thought I was stuck too lol I thought that was it. But it isn't, so just take pictures to track your progress and be patient :) apparently I still have some changes to made still too... Hang in there!

Sorry that it's taken so long for me to write an update! To be honest, it's been a little bit of a mental roller coaster... I haven't wanted to update because I wasn't sure how I actually felt about them and I wanted to give you guys an accurate review. I was just waiting and hoping for them to change! And I still am, but I have decided that I definitely love them :) they're getting a little more squishy and jiggly, which is good! I have finally found a few bras from Kohls, I've already bought some bathing suit tops, and I just feel so much more confident now. The only thing I'm not too thrilled about is the fact that I've developed stretch marks on my boobs. Any tips for getting rid of them?? But overall feeling so much better about everything and very happy :)

I also forgot to add that I got sized again by my doctor, and I'm a 34C or 34D. 34C seems to be too small while 34D seems to fit best.

omg! you look phenomenal babe! congrats! Totally hear you on the mental rollercoaster part though... I went through the same thing around three months too. It has finally passed for me and most of the time I love mine too :) Still a little bit of self lovin' to do but getting there... we are so hard on ourselves. BioOil is great for stretch marks. So is Palmer's Coco Butter for stretch marks. I have been using both religiously and so far so good... no stretch marks on the boobs (my hips are a different story but oh well). So glad you are feeling good - you deserve to feel fabulous with results that good. :) xo

It is really hard but try not to worry about your dropping and fluffing rate. Mine took 3 months to see a big difference, but I had plenty of breast tissue to work with. My natural boobs deflated from a small D cup to a B cup so I did not have to stretch out the skin very much.
You look fantastic in those bikini tops!! If I were you I would just enjoy the push-up bra look without needing the bra while you can. Many Many women still need a push up bra after their BA to get that look. They will eventually relax and your upper pole fullness will decrease somewhat. For now I would rock those backless tops and strapless dresses with all that lovely cleavage (if that is your style, it is mine for sure :) )

Happy healing girl

That's a good point- so it may take me a little longer to see the same type of differences you did... And oh, I'll definitely be rocking them! Haha thank you!! :)

Yay I am so happy for you that you have fallen in love with them. They look amazing in all those photos, they are the perfect size for you by the looks of it :) as far as the stretch marks go, can you put bio oil or Palmer's stretch mark cream on them? I have heard a lot of good reviews about Palmers, however one lady on here did get a big rash from it so I would test it on a small area first! That was only one person out of the many I have seen though so I wouldn't be worried. I hope you find something that helps! When did the stretch marks show up?

Thank you!! I have bio oil but for some reason am not crazy about it. I'll have to give the Palmers a try! The stretch marks showed up around the 2.5 month mark. Hopefully I can fade them! Lol

Yeah I have heard a lot about the Palmers working. I will probably grab some for myself but I am not putting any cream on the incisions yet. I have been doing bio oil on my boobs since a couple days post op and I hope it makes a difference lol you will definitely be able to fade them! I have some on my booty and they have faded without any kind of creams!

Post Op Appt + Frustrations

User Avatar

I had my 6 week post op appointment yesterday. Dr Fiala said I was looking good and healing nicely. He said I need to be tougher with my scar massages though. So that will be my homework for the next month!

I also got sized as a 32DD or a 34D- whaaat! :) He approved me for going bra shopping so, naturally, I left my appointment and went straight to the mall. Here is where I'm frustrated... I can't find a bra that fits me. I bust out of a 34D but a 34DD is too big. I don't get it. Victoria's Secret was a no go, Target was a no go, Macy's and Dillard's were a no go as well. I feel like bra shopping is much more difficult than I had imagined.

Where do you ladies get your bras from? Anyone have the same issues?

Also, who else has gummy bear implants? How long did yours take to fully settle? Are you happy with the feel of them? I'm hoping mine are still going to settle some more (and soften up) because there is still quite a bit of upper pole fullness. I've started wearing the ace bandage again in hopes of squishing them down. I have to remind myself that I'm only 6 weeks post op but I so badly want them to feel and act like real boobs.

Ay-ya-yi. I could use some encouragement and some honesty lol

I think they they still look amazing! Did you get HP implants? Apparently with the fuller profiles they will have a bit more upper pole fullness, but they definitely look good to me. I have noticed that it takes ladies a little while to find the one brand of bra that really works for them, and then they stick with that one going forwards, I have seen a few people who love the Hanes wireless bras, obviously not the sexiest but they sure do look comfy :) good luck!!

Give them time.... I'm at 6 months post op...Same Doctor - I love Fiala and his staff. I went with smooth because I heard so many mixed pros and cons of the textured. I think they will always be slightly firmer...but at 6 weeks post op, they aren't anywhere near as soft as they'll get. I know its hard to be patient...but they will settle down a lot more in the coming months. They may never feel like smooth implants but Dr Fiala explained that (at least he did during my consult)...Theyre are pros and cons to both styles. Im not sure the textured ones drop though. As far as I understood, they adhere to your breast tissue. I could be wrong...They look awesome from here! Congrats on the new boobies!

I love Fiala and his staff too! They're awesome... So cool you went to him as well. And yes I have to keep reminding myself to give them some time because I know I have so many changes to come since I'm still so early into this.

I originally was going to go with regular silicone but ended up changing it at my pre-op appointment. I was so set on silicone but I caught a vibe at one of my pre-op appointments that Dr. Fiala thought gummy bear was a better option for me, so while I disagreed with him initially, I went ahead and did research on the gummy bears and was very pleased with what I read so ended up changing it. I wanted to make the best decision.

Thank you a lot for your positive words! They make me feel more at peace with everything. I know I've got an awesome doctor who knows what he's doing so I just need to chill and let his work fall into place. :)

I have textured round too. I'm only 5 weeks post op but I've noticed mine settling more and more every day. I read a doctor say on here that massages don't really help implants settle, especially textured ones. But I don't know about the strap. I think it has to do more with your native tissue relaxing and letting the implant settle down than pushing the implant into place. You may do better with an anti inflammatory like ibuprofen or naproxen. I've been taking those and haven't had any issues.
I guess mine aren't as soft as natural breast tissue, but they aren't noticeably stiff or anything. They still squish. I still have numbness on the insides of each boob, and maybe a small amount of swelling still. Hope this helps :)

That makes a lot of sense!! So basically I should just chill out and let them settle into place lol... And yeah same for me, I have numbness on different places for each boob. Our nerves will repair before too long!!

Thank you so much for commenting! You definitely helped to put my mind at ease :)

How are yours scars? Is your PS having you do scar massages?

No scar massages. He recommended boob massages but I don't do those too much either. I do use silicone scar sheets. They seem to be healing good.

I went shopping a few weeks ago-around a month bc I needed a better bra before a work event. I left feeling bummed bc I was having all these opposite problems-I lost weight so my pants were too big. I was complaining to my sister about too small butt too big boobs. Haha. It was frustrating. I finally found an ok vs bra but still seems not right--called no wire.I think part of the issue is they need to be in the right place. They need to settle more. I'm small and didn't start with a lot of tissue. You're prob in the same boat. It's just gonna be another couple months. Mine are dropping and softer, but my ps says I still have a long way. You're looking great and they're going to keep getting better! This procedure is a trick lesson in patience.you really are looking fabulous!

I am at 4 months (16 weeks) PO now and mine with textured HP w/ Fiala and mine have definitely settled. I saw the biggest difference at the 3 month mark. I don't feel like they have changed in the past month. They are soft and wiggle and have a small underboob crease when i relax my arms and no crease when i move my arms around. (that is exactly what i wanted, a look natural enough to have a crease but still very perky. )

I can't wait to be at that point! But I feel like I'm slowly but surely getting there. I feel a lot better now that I'm at the 2 months mark. The upper pole fullness is less prominent now... Looking back on these pictures I can definitely see a difference. I just posted a short update :)
