I had always been small chested for my body and as I lost and gained weight throughout my life I developed a pretty noticeable asymmetry with my smaller breast also being tubar. I wore push up bras exclusively and did not like being in a swimsuit. When looking for a doctor, I chose to set up a consultation with Dr. Jan in Allentown PA. Everyone at his office was very responsive and answered all of my questions. During my first consultation Dr. Jan spent over an hour with me covering what goals I had and what types of procedures and techniques that he preferred using. He was very thorough and polite. After thinking about it for a few days, I decided that our goals aligned , so I looked up some reviews from his former patients. They were all very positive, and I booked the procedure.
At my second consultation, we tried on sizers and discussed the possibilities of changing the sizes during the operation to what would look best. His staff gave my all of the pre-surgery information that I needed and walked my through all of the things that would take place until my surgery date.
On the day of my surgery, I was kept waiting at the hospital for 2 hours after my scheduled surgery time. I did have a private room and was made comfortable, but it did not help my stress levels.
When I was called up, each member of my surgery team meet with me personally and answered any questions that I had. Dr . Jan met with me and marked me. We discussed the range of sizes he would try.
I am now 4 days post op and very happ . The Dr. called me shortly after the surgery to make sure I was doing well and my 1st post-op appointment is tomorrow. I am excited to see when I can start working out and doing massages.

1st Post Op Appointment
I just had my first appointment with my PS since surgery today. Everything is looking good!! Hoping to wean off of the pain pills during the day. I'm sure I will still need them for a few more nights as I wake up about 15 minutes before my alarm goes off each time. I also started doing some massages today and was cleared to start treating my scars. What has worked best non scars for everyone? I think I may start with vit E and see how that goes.
Happy healing everyone!

Photo update!
So I am 11 days post op. The first pic is a before & after , the second is dayg 1 to now. You can see the left is still sitting higher than the right. My PS said the bottom part of my left breast was the tightest so it will probably be a bit behind. This site has made recovery so much easier! There were some post op issues I was worried about but knowing that some oif you had been through them too really helps!

I agree this site is so helpful when needing to learn if what I'm feeling is similar to that of others as well. Your three days ahead of me. Excited for your updates!
