I'm not as happy with my results as I was at first. I'm glad that most of the stretch makes are gone, which was my main concern. And I'm happy that my ab area looks much better than it did before. But I can't help but be upset that I actually went up a size. I feel he didn't take enough off of the sides. When I addressed this with him, he said he took all he could. Yet I feel like I can still pinch quite a bit of fat there and on my stomach. I don't have major swelling right now, although I am a little swollen. I've been eating well, but haven't been exercising as much as I'd like.
Overall I'd still say I was worth it, but I'm not sure I'd recommend my doctor. :(

Week 9ish
I survived two weeks in Europe and five days in Mexico. :)
I walked sooooo much in Europe that I thought I my stomach was going to explode. I was holding my stomach like a pregnant woman. It was tough! But I had a great time and got to see so many things. I didn't really wear my binder during the day because it was so hot, but I would put it back in when we got back to the apartment most days. I didn't have the best diet, but I also didn't gain much weight (2 pounds). I'm worried that I may have overdone it. The swelling hasn't seemed to have gone down since I've been home. I'm not in any really pain, so I'm hoping it'll just take some time.
I took it really easy in Cancun, so I know I didn't overdo it there. Now, I'm just relaxing around the house and doing light activities.

Outside of some pain and swelling, I'm feeling great! I can't figure out how to get the swelling down. I'm fairly active, but I've only worked out once which was major fail. I went to work out at night when I was already swollen. I lasted exactly eleven minutes on the elliptical before I had to get off. I did get in some arm work after that which was nice.
For the past few days I've been swollen morning, noon and night. It's a little better in the mornings, but still. I don't like it. I did start slacking a little in the water and diet department, so I'm going to get back on track with that...after Europe. Ha! I'm calling my ps today to get last minute guidelines for sitting on a plane for 9.5 hours.
My scar is red and it hurts. I've read that this is normal so I'm trying not to worry about it. I put neosporin on it every day just in case. And the feeling is coming back in various areas. Ow! It hurts to even touch the skin! I have to keep reminding myself that this is a part of a long process. Wish it were shorter though!
The belly button is looking a lot better. I think putting neosporin in it was causing a lot of what I thought was weeping, so I stopped doing that. Also, it gets red (duh!) after I clean it. I guess I'm a little paranoid.
I went to a water park last weekend. I didn't ride any rides at first. I just kind of hung out in the pool areas because I was still worried about my belly button and scar. But right before we left I rode one river tube type ride with a few falls. It was mellow for the most part, but there were a couple of areas that were fast moving and splashy. At any rate, I survived and realized that I was smart not to ride any of the other rides. It didn't kill me, but it did hurt a little. The belly button and scar did get wet, but all is good.
Also, I'm a little frustrated with the location of my scar. It has moved down quite a bit in the center, but the sides are still pretty high. Im hoping I see more downward movement in the next few weeks.
