My motivation to treat this area came from my husband. The lower face and neck area is difficult to assess because unlike your eyes that you look at in the mirror every day, you only really confront the aging in the neck and lower face area when you look at your profile. My husband's comments drew this to my attention. The procedure went well and without any great pain during and none to speak of afterward with the exception of a minor ache for a couple of days afterward if I pressed on the area that was treated. Now, 2 months later, I can feel the difference along my chin line and am happy with the results so far. It is good to know that the collagen will continue to improve and that this has been accomplished in a non-invasive manner that did not involve cutting and stitching. The biggest negative of the procedure is that the results are not immediate and this does make the improvements difficult to assess in the beginning. However, I am happy to take a longer term outlook on the benefits since there was no down time involved, as you are fine and good to go about all normal activities right after the treatment is complete.
