Had my surgery went well been very sore not much bruising till 4 or so days later. Next day took pic of thighs in garment couldn't believe how flat they were I was ecstatic. Fluid has built up so I'm swollen and look bigger. This will go away couple mths think its from sitting but its hard not too. I sit on pillows to help. Arms were sore along with knees, legs, waist and back, but the pain pills knocked me out for a few hrs so I sleep thru bit of it. Also had upper eye lid...each day gets better. Walking does help a great deal.

Having extremely heavy saddlebags has been a problem for many years. Clothes don’t fit right always tight in thigh area and too big in waist. Gaining weight over the years has made this extra embarrassing exercise doesn’t take it off loosing weight they still show. Would love to have that area on the sides of legs flat, I joked saying wish I could take out of thighs and put it in my breast lol ,...but I see on RealSelf you “Can” .Yay! so during my consult I asked about it and Dr Jeffery Rockmore said I could have it done so we will Lipo from thighs flanks and some belly and add to my drooping breasts and give me nice cleavage. I read a lot on RealSelf and noticed arm lift and yes I called Dr R to see if we can add that too?he said as long as I relized there will be a scar he could do it. Might as well get this all done same day and recoup the one time. I’m very excited and can’t wait. Will post Photos as soon as I can.

Bless you...wish you a good recovery. Are you taking any pre and post op vitamin supplements? I had Explant surgery on the 22 March...did much research to get my body ready. If you would like, I can let you know what was suggested to take. By the way I'm 69.
Thank you yes would love any ideas you have there is a lot of info on here so confusing. Taking iron that's it so far. Less than 3 weeks to go
These are what I took...I routinely take other things also but these are at least recommended. Also let your Doctor know what you are taking. My PS was thumbs up on these...none of whic are blood thinning.....Does your doctor know you are taking IRON? Since you are post menopausal Iron supple ts are not typically recommended. The only way we can rid our blood of the build up of iron is of course bleeding or giving blood. Unless your doctor has checked your blood level of iron to make sure it's needed I would be cautious on the Iron. Most of what I have here can be bought at Walgreens on most drug stores....Wal-Mart possibly...and of course Health Food Stores and any Compound Pharmacy but will cost more......Best of Luck....looking forward to your updates. Your gonna do just fine.

As I mentioned I had Explant surgery....my doctor gave me an Exparel injection, a numbing med that delays post-op pain for about a week! It was $400 extra but sooo worth it. I can honestly say I have had zero pain, no meds, not even a Tylenol. And he had quite the job with Explanting my implants....they were like rocks (35 year old implants) I consider myself very fortunate that everything was contained within the capsules as he removed the implants intact in the capsule. Great med, so glad he suggested it for me.
Thank you I will check with Dr and stop the iron needed it awhile ago low blood
Thanks for the great advice, glad you took those old implants out
No problem. This site is about sharing and caring and offering support. Oh for sure, It's such a good feeling to finally be done with all the worrying and physical discomfort. I am over the moon happy!
