Wanted to Feel Good

Came in for BOTOX— First ever experience —on ever using anything on my face —
He asked me what I felt was the most important part of my face to fix. I wanted my brow fixed to soften the little lines and the crows feet.— I said, that my Nasolabial folds were the worst part of my face. no before and after pics were taken. Dr. rockmore is charming and I decided, what the heck, lets go from a botox deal of $375 to the filler at the tune of $1300— BIG BIG mistake.
He injected me with juverderm on the sides of the nose, the cheekbones and not enough on my frontal cheeks. The goal was to get rid of the nasolabial folds by lifting the cheeks and cheekbone — that never happened. I was left with a swollen face—I asked to see the Dr. because after the injections he just up and left and never came back to check on my results or to ask me if I was happy.

I called a week later and wanted him to check my face, because the injection had no accomplished a fraction of the goal. On that first call, I was told to wait another week. I called two weeks later with the same concerns. this time I was told that he was all booked for the month. Now any self respecting doctor would have either called me back to find out what my concerns were or to get his nurse to make that call. I called again, and once again I was rebuffed and it was not until I said, I needed to make an appointment for additional work( the Botox) was I given an appointment to see the doctor. That is when I realized that there is neither follow up not care after you pay your bill.

I am very disappointed and really disturbed by the lack of care.

Dr. Michael Schwartz out of Los Angeles is well known for always calling his patients back.He is amazing and quire frankly I wished I had just waiting.

But that is the problem with being impulsive. By the time I had gathered the nerve to even get such a procedure done, I had moved to Albany. Next time I fly to LA I plan to see Dr. Scwartz to get the Botox done and perhaps to revisit some ideas on the Juverderm injections Dr. Rockmore did.

I am saddened that this Dr. Rockmore and his staff could care less if there is a concern. The main nurse who had originally brought me in to the room assured me that Dr. Rockmore "…stands behind his work.." and if I was unhappy he would fix it— well that clearly did not happen.

I hate writing negative reviews. In fact, I avoid them — but after reading the other poster who had her lips injected and read that she received the same nonchalance care— I figure that it was my duty to post my experience. She also said, that she was shocked she did not get a before and after pic - Having no experience myself, the thought came to me that this was weird but what did I know.
