I've wanted a chin implant for almost 10 years. It's something that I wanted to do for myself and I'm so happy that I finally went through with the procedure. It's only 36 hours post surgery and I can already tell the result is exactly what I desired. It's wonderful that such a subtle change can make such a big difference. I'd recommend this procedure to anyone looking to make the change.

1 Can you feel the implant? 2 Is the implant fixed with titanium screw (s)? 3. Was the incision from under the chin? 4. What material is the implant?

I can't feel the implant, no. I received a medpor 7mm implant that is secured with two micro-screws; one on each side. My Dr. only does chin implants from under the chin, so that's what I went with.

My surgery was on Monday and today (Friday) I'm back at work. I have no pain and my swelling has gone down considerably, although my cheeks are a little puffy still. Nobody has said anything to me except the barista this morning, who came right out and asked, "Did you get cosmetic surgery?" Rude. Anyway, I still have the tape all over my chin so maybe that's why she asked. I have my stitch removal on Tuesday morning and then from there I can't wait to watch all the swelling go down and my results refine...so exciting!
