Hi realself peeps,
Just an update on my ‘girls’…had almost 8 wonderful years with them and on the 9th year I started noticing that they were migrating outwards (a lot of side boob) and they had sunk quite low. I had a mammo done in 2023 and both breasts really bothered me for a month afterwards. I have aways had an ultrasound after every mammo as I have fibro adenomas in one breast and the drs always freak about it (its nothing), so nothing unusual with ultrasound in the 2023 test, then no mammo/ultrasound till this year and ultrasound noted what looked like fluid around implant. So, after having a breast MRI it found that BOTH my implants were ruptured. I really think it happened with that 2023 mammo, but probably can’t prove it. So, implants were the recalled textured ones, and still under warranty until this coming January. I really wanted the same surgeon, but alas, I am in a different location now and not possible, so after having 3 different consultations (and arguing with myself about getting implants again at my age), I picked a surgeon and had it done 12 days ago. Pics to come probably tomorrow….

Hope all you girls are hanging in there!! At one point I was wondering if I would EVER start feeling better, and it has been test in patience for sure, but I just had my second follow up with Dr Rockmore and I am doing great :), my scars are doing great and I am finally 'dropping'. Dr says I will not 'lose' any more volume, but I will settle a bit more on the upper pole, which is good. I have the 'ok' to do anything I want to do, including riding my horses, and wearing any type of bra I want, and sleeping with NO bra if i want to!! I was being very protective about them and was hesitant to let hubby touch them, but Dr said I will be fine with some 'handling' which made hubby pretty happy ;).
I am going to start looking for some real bras, and thought I would try ebay for some inexpensive ones until i know for sure what my final size will be. I think right now I am a 34DD or a 36D, so am looking forward to wearing something other than sports type bras!!

Wow you look beautiful! I would have never guessed your age. I think you and your ps chose an excellent size for your frame and lifestyle.

Awwwwww, thanks so much :) I do think they are the right size too...once in a while I get the 'boob greed' but it goes away rather quickly!! I like how I can hide them in clothing when I want to, or 'play they up' when I want to......yes, my DR did a fantastic job, I couldn't be more pleased!!!

You look gorgeous. Your ps did an excellent job. If they were bigger they wouldn't look natural; just the right size for your body. Btw you look young. Enjoy!

Wow you look awesome. What size did you get? How was the heeling around the nipple do they have full sensation in them

Your really dropping and fluffing already! You look great, especially your scars look almost gone. I love the purple bra!

Purple is my favorite color :), I hope I drop and fluff a little more than this, I feel a little 'small' again....at first I was thinking a bit small, then I was ok with the way they looked, now I'm back to thinking a bit small......
