I was never blessed with large breasts. It has always been something I was super self-conscious about. Shopping for bras, bathing suits, and even just cute dresses and tops was always a hassle. I finally mustered up the courage to go on a consult (the part I was most worried about) and then decided that breast augmentation was the right option for me. I'm so happy I did it! I couldn't be happier! I'm having so much fun buying new clothes and just feeling more confident in my own body. :D

About me

_cutie
I wanted to start this blog for a couple of reasons. 1. I wanted to track my own breast augmentation journey. 2. Prior to my surgery, I had a difficult time finding similar body types to compare myself too. I hope someone will find my review, experience, and pictures helpful.

A little about me. Pre-op:
30A bra size, XS tops
5’ 7”, 115lbs
280cc Natrelle Silicone Implants, Low Profile, Sub-muscular, Infra-mammary incision
Goal: Natural looking breasts. Ideal size would be a full B, small C cup.
Plastic Surgeon: Dr. Jeffrey Rockmore, Albany, NY

Post Op/ Week 1 recap

_cutie
Ahhh! I finally have boobs! During the first week I was definitely sore and a bit out of it. Everything looks good so far. The biggest issue I had during the first week was with all of the medications. The percocet that I was prescribed made me so itchy! I wanted to rip my face and skin off! The nurses told me to discontinue the percocet and take 800mg of ibuprofen instead. I was also given an anti-nausea patch behind my ear because I occasionally get motion sick. One of the side effects is blurred vision, which I definitely experienced. That was probably one of the scariest things that happened to me. I couldn’t see anything close up. I have perfect vision, and not being able to read really frightened me. That went away within a day after removing the patch. The last issue I experienced was some constipation. Listen to everyone and make sure you have a laxative on hand. YOU WILL NEED IT! After taking 800mg of ibuprofen every 6 hours for a whole week, even after eating super fibrous foods and shakes, you will be constipated and feel so uncomfortably bloated. Trust me on that one. I think that was actually the worst.

Besides not being able to make a bowel movement, my recovery was quite quick. I had surgery on a Monday, as the week went by, by Thursday I was really starting to feel like myself again. By Friday, I was out and about running errands and on Saturday I was able to take a day trip to Boston without any issues.
