I am 25 years old 5'3" 122lbs and have been cursed with lack of. I recently have gone to Dr Carp in Green Ohio and have decided it was time. My fiancé and I have done much research and now I hope to get feed back from other women on BA's. I am MORE than excited and fully trust this doctor and staff to help me achieve my goal! I am going to him two weeks prior to surgery to discuss size and was wondering if there are other women out there who have any pointers.

I just suggest you be prepared for long recovery in terms of having your final result and "feeling normal." I am 6 weeks post op and still have lots of sensitivity on my breasts and nipples, some swelling and no feeling like me yet. The real pain will only last a couple of days but there is lots more to deal with. Have your doctor prepare you and good luck!

Are you getting lift also?
User Avatar

No I am not doing a lift there is no need for that I am an A cup and have always been and want enhanced. Right now the only things I know certain are the style of implant (silicone), placement under the muscle and incision under my breast "crease". As far as the comment about your nipples, did you notice a change in the way they look? And do you still have feeling there? I did research and it said sometime women loose feeling in there nipples but it doesn't say the percentage of.

My nipples are very sensitive - no loss at all! I went from barely an A to a C with saline implants under the muscle. My nipples got bigger as the skin stretches over your implants and muscle.

When you first received them were they more a D and as swelling went down they are settling to a C? I am afraid that if I do a C cup and then swelling goes down there in between a B and C cup.

Yes pretty much but cup size is ambiguous. Show your doctor pictures of how you would like to look. Then based on the measurement of your chest wall he will be able to determine the projection number and number of cc's to fill the implants. I was actually hoping for a full B and may still go down a little more by 3 months. Either way I am happy with how they look.

Thank you for all your information! I have done research over research and now it's a matter of my doctor and I's final decision. Now is the antsy counting down the days part.

Go with the size you like best, or you will regret it! that extra 25 or 50 cc's isnt that much so just add it if you can. Stick to your decision afterwards and dont over think it because then you will start t ask yourself so many questions. Ask as many questions as you want.. and be sure you love your doctor. Its not worth risking. Most importantly.. once they are done.. just have fun.. enjoy the new boobs and dont take it for granted because the more gratitude you have the better you will feel :) Try on all kinds of stuff.. I even tried on my old padded bras to see what they looked like and since they are so small its funny because you get amazing cleavage! If you have any questions dont hesitate to ask i'd love to help ^_^ good luck

I can't wait till I never see an A/B cup again!!!! I have always hated being flat chested and envied the women who had beautiful naturally big breasts. Now it's my turn! I guess the only concern I have is the gawks afterwards lol. I am so glad I found your review. I have been neurotic today and feel at ease after coming across your page! There are millions of thought going through my head. On a scale from 1-10 what was your pain the first week? My surgery is on a Thursday and I am returning back to work the following Wednesday. Too soon?

the first 3 days were the worst day 1, i'd say a 7 or 8.. day 2.. 6 or 7.. and day 3 .. maybe a 6.. after that.. pain was really not too bad.. I just found the muscles still are very sore and I needed someone to help me get up .. after a week I was fine.. the only thing that sucked was that i found out im allergic to penicillin so it explained why I was throwing up .. every time i took it i felt awful :(.. but i called my dr and he changed my meds right away! If you're tough.. you can do it ! :p I'm honestly a big baby when it comes to these things.. I had my mom helping me the first week and a half with everything! lol But most people say after a week they are good to go back to work, as long as you arent lifting heavy things.. trust me.. DONT lift heavy things.. it can hurt.. or worse .. displace your implant.. when you lift heavy things it makes the GAP between the boobs get larger. Im so glad my page helped you out :) Thats all i wanted was for someone to see my review and have it help them through their experience!

First off people will probably not gawk. I am 2 months postop and no one has said anything to me or stared at me. I told a few people I work with and they think I look good. I went from barely A to C. Scale of 1-10 with 10 being worst the first day was 8 or 9 then it got progressively better. I still have what are called zingers and get uncomfortable throughout the day and take Ibuprofen if needed. My surgery was on a Thursday as well and I went back to work on Monday to my desk job. I also teach spin but did not do that til the following Tuesday. hope this helps and good luck!

Honestly I am not afraid of tha pain. I am sure it's going to SUCK but I have been wanting this since I knew what boobs were and that I was never going to grow any. My grandmother had breast augmentation and my mom is super envious that I am doing it. Needless to say, small boobs and nice ass' run in the family lol!! I am a sales representative for Yuengling beer and am going to have to remind myself not lift any beer cases or kegs for awhile! And I am sure my fiancé won't mind helping me get dressed ;). All you women on here are so helpful and are making this whole thing so fun! Last night Matt kept hearing my phone go off from notifications and said "let me guess your boob girls" LOL!! It's like a little family and I love seeing everyone's experiences and results!

Did any of you ladies have the periareolar incision? That is what my ps wants to do and I'm nervous about it.

BA is 26 days away and the research is getting CRAZY! I think my fiancé is ready to lock me in a room until April 3rd lol! Question for ladies who have had the BA's done already. How did you feel after being put under? Did any of you experience problems with sore throat? I have NEVER been put under an am, a little freaked out by it.
