12 week update!
WORTH IT$13,442
12 weeks post op today! I go from having days with absolutely no swelling and almost a completely flat back and front and then I have days where I puff out. The back of me seems to be a little bit swollen today but all and all my abs become a little more visible everyday!

11 weeks out, Bathing suit shopping!
Eeeeek! I did it! For the first time in my life, I bought bikinis!!!! My belly button is still a dark red scar and my back is still pretty swollen but I took the plunge and went for it! Wish me luck actually getting up the guts to wear them LOL

Looking good! Are you capable of working out? Iban 5 weeks out. My surgeon suggested getting back to toning exercuses in 1 to 2 weeks. I read other forums and some other people state waiting 6 months before doing anything heavy or abdominal related

I have the full go a head for everything but I'm not working out really, I bowl on Wednesdays etc but no abdominal work at the gym - I feel like it's still a little early for that since I had some muscle work done

Hi,
Just wondering if you were able to get insurance to help you out with your surgeries???

Forgot to mention...
During the last visit with my surgeon, he recommended I start putting a bead in my belly button to decrease the swelling of the hole. Also included the incision in the pic so you can see how well it is coming along! :)

What kind of bead? Did he give you one, or do you have to buy one? Lol....inquiring minds want to know? I just thought you had a belly piercing... :)

It's just a regular bead, I took from my daughter's craft bin lol a small marble would do too. Just anything small and round I can pop in there to train the sides of my belly button
