AirSculpt with BBL

After having two kids, no amount of diet and exercise helped me obtain the body I wanted. Even at my smallest weight, 128 lbs, I carried this “mom pooch” that made me feel very self conscious.
I spent a lot of time researching medical options- tummy tuck vs Lipo vs coolsculpting. When I read the reviews on Airsculpt I felt like this would be the best choice for me - I wanted real, noticeable results with as easy and short of recovery since having young kids + a full time job makes a long recovery almost impossible.
I got Airsculpt on my full abdomen along with a BBL about a month ago. As excited as I was to get the results afterwards, I was incredibly nervous the day of - I am not great with needles and medical procedures. The meds they gave me to calm my nerves helped. I did enjoy getting to choose music to listen to during the procedure. I may have had a bit too much laughing gas because I did get sick to my stomach on the drive home.
The first night home was somewhat of a blur, but I will say that it is challenging to get comfortable at night with both the Airsculpt on the stomach and the BBL since you cannot lay on or put pressure on your butt (for two weeks). I highly suggest getting a body pillow to lay on top of and have plenty of other pillows to help you get comfortable at night. Also, the leaking that first night was pretty messy. I could not wait to shower once I got past that first 48 hours and to wash the body suit.
A few days later and I got the hang of the body suit and was able to move around pretty easily.
I am already seeing a much flatter stomach and am so excited to see the final results as the swelling continues to go down. I do have a lot of hard scar tissue just under my stomach that I need to continue to massage to help it soften up. That area can still be tender at times (like when my toddler elbows me in that area, as toddlers tend to do).
I am also excited about having a sexier backside. I thought the BBL could be a fun way to feel sexier again (and make use of the fat that got sucked out of my stomach), but the best is seeing how excited my husband is about it! I did not realize he was such an ass man, ha! Super excited to find clothes to show off my new booty! And worth adding- I love how I have more shape but it still looks very natural on me.
If you are also looking into Airsculpt, my final thoughts and advice for you are: this is still a fairly major procedure so make sure you have a plan and support system while you mend. I do think the recovery goes by fairly quickly and the results are great! Definitely worth it!
