AirSculpt - Arms & Full Abdomen + BBL Fat Transfer to Butt
FrescaN0vaJune 7, 2023
WORTH IT$20,000
I got AirSculpt on my Arms and Full Abdomen with fat transfer to the buttocks (BBL). I had my procedure on May 9 and I am now 1 month post op. I added recovery photos below.
Day of procedure: The nurse prepped me, took photos, did a quick exam with the doc to mark me up. I was given xanax, my antibiotic, and an anti nausea pill. They put pain meds in my thigh and had me on the laughing gas nonstop. The only part that was uncomfortable was injecting the numbing fluid in my stomach. Otherwise, it just felt like vibrations. I could feel some jabs on my ribs when they were doing my sides, but it wasn't painful. It was a pretty wet surgery. Pretty cool that I could see the fat come out and collect in a container above me. Two nurses put me into my faja once it was over. At that point, you're pretty out of it. I took a nap in the other room while I waited for my boyfriend to pick me up. I had to lay flat in the uber home.
Meds: For the first 10 days post-op, I took my antibiotic, 800mg ibuprofen, HealFast pills, lymphatic drainage drops, and arnica pills and gel.
Holes: The drainage from my surgery holds stopped after 3 days. Except for my bottom left stomach hole which still drained for about a week and a half.
Arms - I immediately noticed the size difference in my arms right after the surgery even with the swelling. It only got smaller and smaller as the swelling started to subside. The bruising fully recovered by week 3.
Stomach - I got my full abdomen done including my flanks, hips, and lower back. I can tell that I have skin flab, not that its loose skin per se but when I rub my tum, I can feel it.
Hip flip - I love what they did with my hips. I used to have hip dip indentations and now my butt looks round and i have more of an hourglass figure.
Butt - I noticed my butt was very square and unnatural looking right after the surgery. It has softened a bit since then but I can still tell it hasn't fully settled yet.
Recovery: I was in the most pain 1 day post-op and very uncomfortable moving on and off the couch due to the tenderness on my stomach and arms. The discomfort lasted a few days but after the first week, I didnt need to take Ibuprofen anymore. I took a shower 24 hours after surgery and was able to play pickle ball at the two week mark. I felt more and more normal as time went on, just waiting for the swelling to fully go down.
Overall, I am very pleased with the results. I am excited to see if and how it turns out at the 3 month mark. I am hoping not to lose too much of the fat transfer because I'm happy with the size it is at now. I would say it's definitely worth it and I already feel a million times more confident.

2 Month Post Op - Arms & Abdomen AirSculpt + BBL
FrescaN0vaJuly 3, 2023
I am now 2 months post op on my BBL and arms and full abdomen AirSculpt.
PROS:
1. I went to a bach party a few weeks ago and got a ton of compliments from the girls saying my butt looks huge and my shape looks like Kim K. But they said multiple times it looks like I got a BBL so I guess I wasn't fooling anyone lol
2. I feel fully back to normal now and can sit lightly on my butt if I lean most my weight on my thighs. I am doing sports and going to the gym as usual. My arms and stomach are just a little tender still but its not that noticeable.
CONS:
1. I have way MORE cellulite on my butt and thighs than I ever did before. It does not look pretty. I'm wondering if I have to get the AirSculpt+ or Smooth treatment to get rid of the cellulite, but also do not want to throw more money down.
2. I still have a layer of fat on my stomach, especially when I sit down I can scrunch up 3 stomach rolls. And yes I know this is normal for everyone, but it feels like they didn't fully suck out all my fat especially around my belly button. I felt this way the entire time post surgery, not just recently. I'll have them evaluate at the 3 month check in.
3. Note: I stopped wearing my compression garments at 6 weeks which I think is a mistake now because I don't feel as tight as I did before. I don't know if its the lack of compression or just my diet, but I'm feeling a little flabbier than I did a month ago.

You look beautiful. Your butt is amazing. I wish for a butt like that. Perfection isn’t in. Gorgeous results

Were you instructed to wear your compression garment longer than 6 weeks? I heard that Airsculpt only recommended 2 weeks...

As far as pain goes, they are still sore and tender to the touch, but I can finally lift my arms without it hurting. I read that people feel the rubber band snapping sensation but I haven't really had that. I only get it sometimes on my hips.
My doctor didn't tell me anything either. They just did the procedure and I never saw them again. I also wish I waited for the winter lol I am personally opting to wear the garment for as long as possible just to be safe. I read online that it helps results the longer you wear it. I do take it off occasionally and wear normal clothes if I am meeting a friend or have other events.
I broke the rules a bit and played pickleball a week and a half after surgery. It hurt to really extend my arms up and run after the ball, but other than that I was fine. I would best describe the feeling I get in my butt when I run as when you jog downstairs without a bra on and it hurts when your boobs flap up and down. It feels like there is two balls in my butt that bounce against the insides and it is an uncomfortable feeling. I don't feel pain but I get worried that Im killing the fat cells by shaking it too much so I hold my butt when I run to prevent that ball juggling feeling. I'm 2 months out now and my arms and stomach are still a little tender to the touch, but I have full movement and mobility. I've been playing pickleball, softball, going to the gym, etc for the past 5 weeks too.
