Long awaited happiness

First things first...I can't get over how amazing my nose looks. Every time I look in the mirror I feel happy and that is something I'm completely unaccustomed to. I want to go through my entire Rhinoplasty journey from start to finish, however, I could easily be here all night. So for now, I will just talk about my result and recovery and how it's all going.
What I wanted:
I'd had a primary Rhinoplasty done in 2011 with a one of the UKs most popular high street cosmetic surgery companies. This was a mistake. I had always disliked how bulbous the tip of my nose was (in the winter it would go red and everyone called me Rudolph, it was an accurate representation), so I decided that I wanted the tip narrowed and to have a more defined bridge. However, I didn't have a very specific 'look' in mind, I just knew that I didn't want to look like Rudolph anymore. So after a short time I decided that this high street company were well known, I'd seen them in all my favourite fashion magazines and knew a few people who had had other procedures with them, so I had a consultation.
I was so desperate to get rid of my Rudolph nose, the fact that the surgeon was abrupt, rude, had ZERO black people in his portfolio but was adamant that he was well versed with the anatomy of a black nose, and that his PA changed THREE times by the time I decided to have my procedure done...didn't deter me. I was foolish and young.
I had the procedure done and when I got my cast taken off I bawled for about an hour. It was horrific. The bulbous tip was still there, just slightly squashed and now lopsided. My nostrils were two different sizes and for the next five years I would struggle to breathe out of my right nostril.
Fast forward to 2016...
Having done copious amounts of research (I wouldn't make that mistake again) had crazy amounts of communication and consultations with specialists and cosmetic surgeons that specialised in ethnic Rhinoplasty, locally and internationally...including, but not limited to Julien De Silva, Ron Hazani, Sam Rizk, Paul Nassif, Jason Hamilton, Lucien Ion, Oleh Slupchynkyj, and Kofi Boahene; I finally decided with Dr Boahene. Why? It was a close decision between Dr Hamilton and Dr Boahene, however Dr Boahene was the only Dr that I felt could 100% produce the results I wanted, shared my vision, and also went out of his way to personally respond to my emails (ALL of them), respond to my requests out of hours and internationally accommodate me as much as he could. He wasn't promising the world, but was very realistic, but patient with my research driven questioning, and always gave me very technical answers to how he would solve the issues that I had with my nose. I was sold.
To cut a long story (and nose) short...I went through with my Revision Rhinoplasty in Baltimore with Dr Boahene and arrived back home a few days ago. I haven't been so happy in a LONG time. The results of my surgery are outstanding and EXACTLY what I'd hoped they would be. I'd decided that I trusted dr Boahene enough to believe that I would come out with satisfactory results but realistically, may not be perfect. However, the results are above and beyond that and ARE perfect. I took a painstaking amount of time editing my picture to show Dr B exactly how I wanted my nose, and not only did he take that on board but he made it even better. I'm just happy. So so happy.
Pre op problem areas: Polly beak on profile, wide tip, bulbous tip with thick skin, wide nostrils, no bridge definition and right side lacking nostril crease. Nostril asymmetry and top deviation.
Post op solutions: Straigh/flat profile, tip reduction and scar tissue removal, tip skin thinned, bridge bone narrowed and sides scooped/scar tissue removal to enhance nostril crease. Nostril asymmetry corrected to best ability, tip deviation corrected.
Please let me know what you think and I'll keep updating this post. Feel free to post comments and questions.
Please note the I'm currently in week two of recovery so there is still lots of internal and external swelling, I expect the results to improve even further over time, but the pics I posted are a current representation.

Before and After

Hopefully this upload works this time. Here's some pictures for you guys.

New pics

Just wanted to add a few more pictures of my progress. It's not been that long since surgery...two weeks? But IMO the results are coming through nicely. Today my nose looked particularly nice and defined and I wanted to share that with you guys. Let me know what you think.

Annoyingly, I think it looks much better in person than in pictures since I'm plane faced, but you can tell the level of the definition from the way the light reflects off of the surfaces of my nose and where the shadows are. If this is what is looks like at two weeks Post-op, no makeup, then I'm SUPER excited.
