SO happy I chose Dr Epstein

I am currently 9 days post open rhinoplasty and so far I couldn't be happier with my results.
WHY I CHOSE DR EPSTEIN.
I have spent many many hours researching surgeons who specialise in 'ethnic rhinoplasties' and Dr Epstein was the only surgeon who I found that consistently produced amazing results.
Yes, Dr Epstein's fees are more than some other surgeons, but this is a reflection of his experience and results. When it comes to your nose (which is on the centre of your face for the rest of your life) please do not let saving a bit of money come into consideration when choosing your surgeon.
I live in London, England and made the decision to travel to Miami to have my rhinoplasty with Dr Epstein as I truly believe he is one of the best (if not the best) ethnic rhinoplasty surgeon in the world.
PATIENT EXPERIENCE
From the moment I sent my first email inquiring about this procedure up until present day, my experience has been flawless and stress free.
Assistant Dannette and nurse Cindy were both wonderful with answering any questions I had and ensuring I was prepared for my surgery date.
After meeting more of Dr Epstein's team, I can say that everyone is so friendly, welcoming and warm.
As I was travelling to Miami alone, I opted to have nurse Cindy stay with me for my first night after the surgery. I can honestly say she is one of the loveliest people I have ever met. She treated me like a family member and was such a kind, funny and reassuring person to have care for me after my surgery.
CONSULTATION
As I live in England, I opted to consult with Dr Epstein via email (he also offers Skype consult etc) where I sent him photos of my nose & information on my goals to which he provided me with detailed information on how he would approach the surgery to provide the best results.
Dr Epstein has the perfect balance of asking the patient what changes they want but also providing his expert opinion on which changes he thinks should be made to achieve the best aesthetic outcome.
SURGERY
My surgery day was as stress free as possible! Again, I was made to feel very comfortable by all of Dr Epstein's staff.
The surgery took place at the main clinic, which is modern and clean.
I met with Dr Epstein on the morning of my surgery, to go over the procedure and my goals. I was made to feel very reassured and at ease.
I also have to give thanks to Dr Epstein's fantastic anaesthesiologist. With previous surgeries at other clinics I had suffered with severe nausea and dizziness after my anaesthetic, I mentioned this to him before the surgery and he assured me I wouldn't feel this. And true to his words I didn't, it was such a relief!
AFTER THE SURGERY
After coming round from surgery I saw Dr Epstein, and he informed me that the procedure had gone very well. I experienced no pain, more of a mild ache feeling for a few hours. Til this day, I still haven't needed to take any painkillers for my rhinoplasty.
I spent a few hours after my surgery recovering in a comfortable chair in a private room of the clinic. I was regularly check on by Dr Epstein's staff and they even bought me a fruit smoothie and soup from a cafe nearby.
RESULTS
I am currently only 9 days post op but so far I am over the moon with my results. Most of my bruising has gone and I was able to breath normally through my nose by Day 7.
The scar from my incision is already barely visible.
On my cast removal day on Day 7, I loved my results from all angles & it will only improve as the swelling goes down over the next 6 months/1 year.
I really couldn't wish for a better rhinoplasty experience. For those looking for an ethnic rhinoplasty surgeon I HIGHLY recommend choosing Dr Epstein. I am so glad I found & chose him, he is a surgeon you can trust with your nose!

When I decided to get a rhinoplasty I was only really focused on the changes from the front view, I didn't give the profile view too much thought. But now, I am so happy with the changes made to the profile, just as much as the front view.
Thankfully during our consultation Dr Epstein suggested we should slightly rotate the tip upwards and secure it to make sure it doesn't droop down further when I laugh or smile (it used to) and I'm really glad I trusted his expertise as I love how it came out.

All healing is going well. The swelling is slowly reducing but does fluctuate which is normal. I avoid eating excess salt or processed foods which contain high sodium. Drinking plenty of water and taking bromelain, turmeric and quercetin supplements daily as they are all meant to help reduce inflammation.
Scar is barely visible and with a little bit of makeup it wouldn’t be visible at all. Still very happy with my results!
