Ethnic Rhino in Turkey wit Dr. Yusuf Orhan Uçal

Wow sooo I probably had the easiest rhinoplasty recovery of all time! I was Dr. Uçal’s first patient that day and he came into my room with his assistants and one of my coordinators and we all talked about what my desires and concerns were for my nose he was super sweet very honest and listen to my concerns as he did before. I woke up while they were wheeling me out of the OR and I was just talking the nurses ears off lol. I was also only cold from The anesthesia for 10 minutes which is odd for me because usually after anesthesia I’m nauseous and shivering for hours. I looked in the mirror The moment I got to my hospital room and there was ZERO swelling and bruising!! And best of all, I COULD BREATHE OUT OF MY NOSE STILL which meant I could TASTE still! I was so sad my swelling was going to make it hard to smell because the food in Istanbul is BOMB AF and there was still so much to try but it didn’t! AND I didn’t have to breathe through my mouth and I HATE mouth breathing! I only felt a little pressure between my eyes sometimes on the first night like a sinus headache and I would put ice on my eyes and it would go away. also was not tired at all I was actually really excited to the point where I only slept three hours in the hospital just because I really couldn’t sleep but my doctor told me that the anesthesia can have that effect on some people. Dr. YOU said my surgery went really well, actually better than he thought, because I had no bridge whatsoever and he usually only adds 5-6 mm of bone graft and for me he had to add 8! I saw my table photos that day and was sooo in love. I will say my rib DID hurt. It felt like a bad rib cramp, but it really only hurt when I would use those muscles in any way, like getting up. I was watching a hilarious movie in the hospital and I had to turn it off because laughing hurt and I couldn’t stop laughing lol. Let me just say dealing with Clinichub has been the most pleasant experience EVER! They have been on top of it from the moment I got in contact with them about a quote. They are so organized and professional. My coordinator, Selim is THE BEST!! He not only has been answering my nonstop questions about the procedure for months but he even went above and beyond and gave me just regular travel recommendations because I will be in the city for a week before my Rhinoplasty, he is even helping me with Turkish words. It doesn’t just stop with him. I got to have a video consultation with Dr Uçal and he is soooo kind and attentive to my concerns, and very humble especially since his work is phenomenal. He truly believes in building a nose that is in harmony with the face you already have and he is open to looking at wish pics and will give an honest opinion about whether that will work for your face. Everyone that I have been in contact with at Clinichub has been so cheerful and kind. I’m used to it being like pulling teeth to get a doctor or coordinator to respond to me much less help me with anything outside of my surgery. I am super thankful for their amazing service so far. I ended up missing my flight because a gate agent told me my covid test was invalid, but after I had retaken a $160 test and missed my flight I found out that he was wrong so I wasted my time and money for NOTHING. I was FURIOUS but Clinichub was very proactive in my schedule changes and I’m back on track. I am finally on a plane to Istanbul and I am so excited. I will be getting several tooth extractions (wisdom teeth + extra teeth) surgically done with Clinichub before my Rhinoplasty thats why I am flying in a week early but unfortunately thanks to the ignorance of the airline employee I won’t arrive in time for my planned dental surgery and it will be pushed back FOUR DAYS I’m pretty concerned about having to recover from wisdom tooth removal 4 days before my Rhinoplasty but I am hoping if I take plenty of anti swelling agents and follow the doctors instructions properly it won’t be any harder than it was already going to be.

This is my journey and review of my rhinoplasty in Istanbul Turkey with Dr Yusuf. I don't have a very bad nose at all but I think its a tad masculine, I have large nostrils and my tip droops when I smile. Hopefully this will give my face a slimmer appearance because I have a very round face. I decided to go to Turkey for multiple reasons 1) I don't see enough black nose jobs done by most doctors in the US 2) the prices are CRAZY high for the few that do them and the results are minimal 3) Turkish doctors are better with Ethnic Rhinoplasty because their noses are more similar and they are the nose job capital of the world 4) the price is a much less than the US with waaaay better results I am going with Dr. You because I love his work! I have never seen a nose job that he's done that I do not like. He also has great reviews on his personality and bedside manner. I have seen a lot of negative reviews about these other popular Ethnic Rhinoplasty doctors (ie. Dr Bora, Dr. Umit) they have pretty great work but a lot of people said they don't seem to care too much about the patient and are condescending and don't listen. I have already learned my lesson with doctors like that so thats a red flag that I took seriously.
