2 Weeks Post-Op! A Real Review for Ethnic Rhinoplasty & Temporal Lift

Hey ladies, wanted to share my experience and results of my recent procedures with Dr. Oreroglu! My cousin and I traveled from Houston for my primary ethnic rhinoplasty and temporal lift, and her primary ethnic rhinoplasty and buccal fat removal. Surgery day was exactly 2 weeks ago on January 13th. Here’s the rundown:

I’d been drawn to his IG page for nearly 2 years, and even when I was tempted to find cheaper or more popular surgeons, no ones work drew me back like his did. So I took that as a sign, and decided he was worth it.2. What I love most about his work is that he doesn’t give his patients a one-size-fits-all nose. Everyone’s results look completely different, and that individual customization is exactly what I was looking for.3. His accreditation’s - double board certified with a very impressive and lengthy CV, and dozens of scientific publications, conference presentations, news channel appearances, etc. (go doc!)4. The range of his offerings - I wanted to get everything done at once so I was happy to see he was a one-stop-shop.5. He will not sell you a dream, and he will tell you exactly what you do and do not need. He looked at my wish pics and morphs I created but was completely transparent letting me know what can and can’t be achieved on thick skin. I also wanted to add chin lipo and he said girl, bye lmao. He proceeded to visually show me past cases of how fillers and fat injections instead can give me the results I’m looking for in that area, so I really appreciate how he does not try to upsell you, and tries to give you the most optimal and safe solution.6. No language barrier - he speaks perfect English and is so knowledgeable, laidback, and patient. Our consultation ran almost 2 hours, felt like I was sitting down with an uncle just asking away, and he detailed every step of what he was going to do in my surgery.7. The smooth and easy communication with his patient coordinator via WhatsApp.I could go on and on, but overall, I’m absolutely thrilled with my results so far. I’m so impressed with how much he was able to execute my vision of enhancing my facial features, and naturally bringing a more feminine and sleek harmony to my face.I know we don’t see many ethnic rhino cases posted, or few who have gone through the cat eye surgery, so I hope this post was hopeful! Just wanted to update everyone with a few pics and videos of my nose at 1-month post-op! Am I happy with my nose? 100%. Am I happy with my temporal lift? Not quite.
It’s healing just fine, however, my eyes dropped back down to their natural state. After doing some more research in the Facebook surgery groups, I discovered it’s very common, and the best way to achieve the “cat eye” look, is with combination surgeries.
Dr. Ali rejected my request for a revision, which is disappointing, so I’ll be going to another doctor instead.

Quick update now that I’m 3 months post-op! I’m in love with my front profile, but not happy with the side profile. I’ve started to develop a slight hump, and my tip is still pretty bulbous. Understandable, as I’m still early on in my healing, but if this shape remains at the 1-year mark, I’ll definitely be going for a revision.
My goal is a cute slope and super refined tip. Not sure if I’d go back to oreroglu to execute that, but according to his assistant, it’s good to know that I’d only be responsible for the hospital fees in the case of a revision. Lastly, as I mentioned in my last update, my eyes have pretty much completely dropped, so I will also be seeking a revision for that.
