17 days post op

Went in for my two week post op visit and had 8 stitches removed from the sides. Goodness, they feel so much better. The rest of my stitches still itch like crazy but slow deep breaths are helping me manage. My right side has a beautiful black scab a bit bigger than a half dollar, and I'm told it will be a few months before it goes away, but that otherwise, I am healing beautifully.
I am still very swollen, but bruises are all gone. Thinking I may be in a 38/40 D when all is said and done.
I'm still very happy with my results!!!

4 Days Post Op

Today I am feeling really good. I was able to take a shower last night, and discovered a nickel-sized blood bister beneath my right breast. It is not directly on the incision, and it doesn't hurt. Dr. Edney wanted to see it before the long weekend, so I was in this morning. He says to let it pop on its own- the longer it is in tact, the better. Afterward, just keep it clean and dry. It may be painful and it may take a little bit longer to heal. He looked over everything else, and says he is pleased with how everything is going. I go back on Wednesday.
I have been trying and trying to find all of my pre-op photos but can't. I'm sure hubby has some. Currently, I am in a C-DD cup sports bra, and still very swollen. I am hoping to come out of this a 40D. I am just taking regular Tylenol now, as there really is no need for the heavy stuff. Riding in the car hasn't been bad, and I am looking forward to driving myself next week. (I'm a horrible passenger seat driver).

I am currently 36 hours post-op and I feel Sooooo good. I was really apprehensive, and as I got closer and closer to my surgery date, I had a huge lump in my stomach, but I am sooo glad I did it! The morning of my surgery, my doctor asked me how I was feeling. I told him that I was suddenly very nervous. He said that good new is he wasn't. He had me laughing- just enough to put me at ease.
My doctor promised to take as much as her could without jeopardizing blood supply-- he took 2100 grams- 1050g from each side. I am still swollen a bit, but otherwise VERY happy with the results. I am in a simple binder, which is like a tube top that velcro in the front. No bra. I can wear a sports bra that closes in the front. I don't have any drainage or oozing, so no gauze or anything else needed. I do to have any drains. In fact, when I got to see the girls today, I was so surprised at how good they looked!
I will upload photos later tonight when I remove the binder.

Dr Edney was amazing. He explained the procedure thoroughly, and made me feel very confident in his abilities.
