Advice Needed from Previous Breast Implant Removal and Lift
Hello! Back in June of 2023 I had an appointment scheduled with a plastic surgeon in Aventura, Florida to remove my breast implants and perform a breast lift. On the day of my pre op appointment, the manager who collected my payment kept telling me that I should get a smaller implant after I remove the original ones because she said it wasn’t going to look good but I told her that I did not implants again. She then advised that I switch from my original doctor named Dr. DiGeronimo to Dr. Ramirez because he performs better lifts without implants so I did the switch which was a complete mistake! The plastic surgeon did a horrible job on my breast lift. My left breast is a cup size bigger than my right breast, they are uneven, my nipples were positioned unevenly and my right breast has a terrible scar that exceeds under my breast all the way to the middle of my chest that you can even see in low cut shirts. I sent follow up pictures to the clinic and they stated that the doctor who performed my surgery no longer worked at the clinic and that I would have to reach out to him for a revision. When I reached out to him, he stated that he cannot perform the revision because he is no longer under the clinics contract. I reached out to the clinic again and they said that is incorrect that he can fix them and if I went back to their clinic I would have to pay another surgeon to perform the surgery again. I got a second opinion from a plastic surgeon where I live in Tampa who stated that a revision is definitely needed and is charging me almost twice the price I paid to get them done originally. They also stated that is was the clinic’s responsibility if the surgeon is no longer working there and that they should be performing the revision. I reached out to an attorney who advised that I file a complaint about the clinic and plastic surgeon who performed my surgery to the department of health so that’s what I did. I am still waiting to hear back from them. I just want my breasts revised or a refund so I can get them redone. They look terrible! I cannot even wear certain clothing because of it let alone a swimsuit. Can someone please give me some advice on what else I can do at this point. Thank you
