Under eye is hollow & still bruised after AccuTite

ORIGINAL POST

My Under Eye is Hollow and Still Bruised

$2,800
I wanted upper and lower bleph but was told about Accutite so I opted for upper bleph and Accutite for my under eye. Worst decision ever and I wish I could take it back.
I chose that because my lower bags were minor and I didn’t really need a full lower bleph, just needed some fat removal. I’m so sad.

Upper bleph was fine but as my under eye healed, I was still bruised like I had black eye. 4-months post, there was no improvement. I went back for several follow ups and my surgeon said my complaints were common and to give it more time. I had the surgery early September. :-(

I’m almost 9 months post and it’s worst. No improvement on the original reason I had it done, dark circles AND now I have this gaunt hollow look that I’m so insecure about. I can’t leave the house without makeup. That’s never been something I’ve had to do.

This surgery aged me. I now actually need a corrective full lower bleph. I’m so sad.

Worst part, my husband begged me not to touch my face but agreed to it. Now he is begging my not to do it again but I feel like I MUST. No way I’m leaving it like this.

PLEASE don’t waste your money on Accutyte, especially if you’re AA. This laser isn’t meant for us and I hope other providers are more honest about it. I feel like a test dummy for the company that created this and I’m pissed. I NEVER write reviews, good or bad but this one was too important to remain silent.

Just to be clear, I loved my provided and they were good with the upper bleph and was so concerned about my healing. I’m going back for minor stuff but this laser was too new and not for me.

So sorry this happened to you. I had it done too and left me with scars and an asymmetrical face and neck. I wish they would explained more of the risks associated with this procedure like possible nerve damage, scars and asymmetrical. Inmode also shouldn't sell a device to any type of doctor. This should be in the hands of doctors who are trained in facial anatomy like a plastic surgeon or a highly trained medical dermatologist who specializes in facial aesthetics. They are selling these devices to any doctor who wants to capitalize on the aesthetics industry. They only do a weekend course (or a couple of days) to learn how to use these powerful machine. People who are thinking of doing this, ask a lot of questions before letting someone liposuction and contour your face with Accutite.
