Update

Here are two more recent pictures, approx 2.5 months out. The swelling continues to get worse. NO, this is not collagen production. It’s edema pockets, jiggly, only in the area I was treated with Accutite, and doesn’t go down no matter what i do. I did meet w the physician, who is trying to do what he can to figure out what is going on. However, I was told to simply wait. Wait ANOTHER month and see what happens. My job requires me to closely interact with so many patients and professionals all day, and this is so embarrassing. People that know me definitely notice the severe edema. He did place PDO threads to help lift the jowls a bit (after these pictures), but it just slightly helped. Has ANYONE gone through this?? Does it really take this long to recover?? Does it get better?

Accutite, Morpheus8 and PDO Threads: Still Swollen 2 Months After! WASTE OF MY MONEY!!

First picture is before, and second is today (almost 2 months after). I was starting to have slight jowls and heaviness to my lower face. I’ve had only PDO threads in the past, and found a local doc that was offering accutite. From YouTube videos, the results seemed promising, so I decided to take the plunge. I had accutite performed in my jowls, jawline and double chin area, morpheus8 on same area, and 4 barbed PDO threads inserted for double chin area to create a more V shaped “snatched” lower face look. After 2 months of torturously waiting for results, my jowls keep getting worse and worse!! They look swollen ALL OF THE TIME!! And really bad in the morning and towards end of evening. I’m so upset and now I have no idea if this will EVER get better. I haven’t gained weight, haven’t changed anything as far as face regimen, and only other procedure I had done 2 weeks ago was 1ml of lip filler. Has anyone experienced the same thing? I was told results gradually get better as time goes by and the swelling resolves in a few days, not months!! Help!!
