Accutite/Facetite - I'm so grateful I found Dr. Kim and this procedure!

Fatty cheeks and very pronounced nasolabial folds run in my family even at low body fat levels. At 32 I felt like they aged me disproportionately to the rest of my face and body and hadn't resolved with my buccal fat pad excision. I was having a slight bit of laxity after the buccal removal, as well. I'd had over 1 Ml of fillers to now avail. I thought I was just going to have to live with it.
I came to Dr. Kim asking if a facelift was my only option. He told me about Accutite, which I'd never heard of. Accutite is the newest version of Facetite and I was anxious because there isn't a lot of info about it specifically. I had a couple consults with Dr. Kim and he recommended this treatment as it melts the fat and tightens the skin in a really targeted area, which is the only thing to do this.
Dr. Kim was so so patient with me, and answered every question. He never pushed me or was impatient. I decided to do it and went in the week of Thanksgiving. The procedure was painless. I had Accutite and lipo under the chin. All you feel is slight warmth. I was up and walking around right after. Dr. Kim was thorough and gentle. He has the BEST bedside manner.
The day after you are insanely puffy due to the fluids injected during the procedure and wear a compression garment for a week. It took 7 days to be looking good enough to return to work and 10 to have the noticeable swelling gone. It took me 6 weeks for the swelling to totally go down and two months for the sensitivity to go away and the skin to feel tight.
The insertion points are still a bit swollen if you rub them (feels like a blemish below the skin) but nothing visible except for a tiny mark. My skin keeps getting tighter and looking better and better. I am thrilled with the results and couldn't recommend Dr. Kim more highly. I always roll my eyes when I hear things like "I treat patients like they are part of my family" but he is not kidding. He has gotten back to me right away on every question and both he and Megan, his coordinator are a dream to work with. You can tell he really cares and is so talented and kind.
I'm told the results should continue to get better through 6 months. "After" pics are exactly 8 weeks post. I'm so grateful I found Dr. Kim and this procedure!
